Birding Therapy offers beginner birding walks in and around Malmö. The birding walks are relaxed, educational, fun, and are good for mental well-being. Everyone is welcome but the walks are designed for people who are complete beginners and those that don’t have access or opportunity to go out into nature. I’ve been birding since 1995 and am familiar with most of the birds that occur in Europe as well as other parts of the world. All birding walks are during the morning hours on weekends, usually between 08:00 and 12:00. The length of the walk depends on the client preference.

Had a delightful morning looking at birds around Klagshamn Udde. This was our third time out with Birding Therapy, and as always it was a fantastic experience. Hakim is a very pleasant guide who clearly enjoys sharing his great knowledge and love of birds with others.

Professional and fantastically knowledgeable bird guide. Very easygoing and responsive. He emails a list of all the birds we have seen and heard on the tour and even links with audio files on the birds we heard. What a service! I hope for many more bird watching trips with Hakim!

We had a fantastic time wandering Ribersborg with Hakim, looking at and listening to different birds. As a newbie to birdwatching, it was incredibly helpful to have his guidance and tap into his knowledge - not only during the tour but also afterwards when he shared photos, a list of birds seen, and sounds files to birds we heard. Could not ask for more. I left the morning excited about birdwatching - definitely, I'll go on future walks and until then, keep in mind the tips I learned. Hakim is super personable, helpful, and open to questions - it was an amazing morning.

Hakim is a fantastic guide, providing a lot of information leading up to, during and after the walk about everything from logistics to a comprehensive list of all the species we saw. We had a great time exploring a new area of Malmö and would definitely book another walk with him!
