hotel reservations are ridiculous

impossible to add membership status to hotels, thus making it more expensive as I'm forced to take the breakfast option which I could get for free. this is beucase they are a third party that uses another third party (hotelbeds) for hotel reservations. more expensive than it could be.

note I have an official email from the hotel chain (IHG in this case) stating that this kind of reservation is not valid to get any benefit.

edit to add another crap (non-)feature of fairjungle. with every other TA in the world, i could pay for the nights i actually stayed in a hotel. with fairjungle, everything is prepaid and no reservation can be changed. this means that if plans change - and business trips DO change - the company still need to pay the full stay even if i left days before. so the crap about saving money is clearly offset by having to pay additional nights. it happened twice, in two different hotels / two different chains, no solution. sigh. welcome to 1980.

Just to share a bit more context — we work with accommodation networks rather than directly with each hotel chain so that we can offer the widest possible range of options, offers, and prices across our platform. This approach gives customers more choice, but we understand it can also lead to limitations like the one you experienced.

We know how valuable loyalty perks can be, and we completely understand your frustration. At the moment, some of our accommodation partners don’t allow loyalty benefits to be applied to bookings, but we’re actively working with them to make this possible in the future. Improving this experience is a priority for us.

As for your attempt to amend your hotel stay on the spot, please note that, like other travel agencies, we are bound by the terms and conditions set by each individual property. Many hotels apply prepaid, non-refundable rates, which do not allow changes once the stay has started. When plans change, we always do our best to negotiate a free-of-charge amendment or early checkout with the property on your behalf, but unfortunately the final decision rests with the hotel and cannot be guaranteed.

We appreciate you taking the time to let us know what happened, and your input genuinely helps us focus on the areas that matter most to our customers.

Fairjungle is an excellent solution for…

Fairjungle is an excellent solution for business travel. It simplifies every aspects of work trips and offers a fresh approach to corporate travel. The interface is intuitive and is designed for efficiency, making it a great choice if you wish to save time (and money !). We would recommend using Fairjungle to any company!

Great product

I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts on Fairjungle, as my company has been subscribed to their service for a few months now. Overall, I've been thoroughly impressed with this product!

To start, I must highlight the fantastic support team that Fairjungle has in place. They're always available to help out and ensure that everything is running smoothly. Additionally, I really appreciate their train vs plane recommendation system, which helps to reduce CO2 emissions. This is a small but meaningful way that my company is doing its part to help the environment.

Finally, I must mention the great iOS application that Fairjungle offers. I particularly love how easy it is to access QRCodes when traveling by train. It's a convenient feature that really streamlines the process.

The only downside I've found with Fairjungle is that they currently don't offer any train options outside of Europe. However, this is a minor inconvenience that hasn't detracted from my overall positive experience. I would highly recommend Fairjungle to any company looking to simplify and streamline their travel management process.

Excellent Customer Service at Fairjungle

I recently booked a trip with Fairjungle and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of their customer service. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to help. Whenever I needed assistance, they responded promptly and efficiently. I am particularly grateful to one of their customer service representatives who displayed remarkable patience and kindness when I had difficulty understanding certain aspects of my booking. Overall, I highly recommend Fairjungle for their exceptional customer service.
