An amazing experience on style, privacy and ecology

It's an impressive phone and the Murena software is a smooth transition from Android and iPhone. Every APP runs nice. The features, like the changebility of the parts and the privacy concerns are the crown of all for me. The options for vpns, intracibility, the "wall of shame", the buttons to disconnect microphone and Camera are top notch. Really liking the experiente. My only problem is with the charging and the speakers (who left me to wish for more).

Warranty Repair

The phone refused to start, so I contacted Fairphone knowing I had a 5 year warranty. Simple stuff. They sent me a label, I sent them the phone, they sent me back the phone with a list of parts that had been swapped under warranty, no bill. Best you could hope for and done in a week, end to end.

so strong that it doesn't need repairs

The only thing remotely negative that come to my mind is that it's so strong that I never needed to repair it, despite multiple 1meter+ falls on rocks or concrete. I have it for 3 years now

A total disaster

A total disaster – extremely poor quality
I ordered a fairphone 6 for €600 from the Danish website Proshop. Immediately after unboxing it, I noticed a scratch on the display glass. I filed a complaint, and the phone was replaced with a new unit.
Unfortunately, the replacement also has manufacturing defects. The screen has a green-blue tint on the left side. Furthermore, the ultra-wide camera consistently produces photos with pink and black spots; it is very noticeable, especially when compared to photos of the same object taken with my Pixel. I simply don’t have the energy or the desire to go through the complaint process all over again.
Even though I have the system language set to Polish, not every interface element is translated, giving the impression of an unfinished, "raw" product. On top of that, the phone freezes frequently. There are also major issues with updates: Android 16 was supposed to be released by the end of 2025; it is now March 2026, and the update is still nowhere to be found.
Summary: I deeply regret this purchase. This phone is definitely not worth the money. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. My only wish is to turn back time, cancel the order, and keep my €600.

Initial shipping issue but extremely happy with purchase overall

My order has been shipped to the wrong address
*Update I have been in touch with customer services and they have been very helpful and resent my order within 2 days. I have now received it and am very happy with the phone and accessories, despite the issue I had I would recommend the company, and I am happy to see someone taking action on the biggest issue in the tech industry (repairability and e-waste)

3 pairs of Fairbuds no good for calls

I bought 3 pairs of Fairbuds a few months ago impressed by their fair use green life cycle proposition I hoped that it would at least work as an average earbuds however I am very disappointed with the quality of microphone. The people on the other side of the call cannot understand whatever I speak. The microphone connection is so poor it’s very frustrating. I’ve got in touch with fair phone support, but they cannot do anything to help me so I’ve got three pair of junk for calls. I currently use it only to listen to audiobooks. For calls, I would need to buy another brand.

Best sustainable electronics

Transparent Shop and shopping experience. Prices completely fine for the only really sustainable (as much as that is currently possible) electronics on the market. Shipping went well. I don't like that only ups is available as a shipping option. I'd rather pay more for DHL. But I was lucky to finally have a ups drop off point nearby, which made it hassle free this time.

This time I only bought a few chargers and cables and I am very happy with the quality improvements they made on these over the years. I've been a customer since the pre-order of the FP2 and currently own a FP5.
