Adore my Venus Hi Gloss guitar

I bought a Faith Venus Hi Gloss acoustic guitar in 2019 and it's only got more brilliant with age. Not only does it play beautifully, it's also stunning to look at. The fret action is perfect and makes fretting easy all up the neck. My only disappointment is the 'Fishman ink' tuning device has cracked plastic now, presumably due to the wood flexing over time, but I don't use it anyway.

Depreciation

I have two Faith guitars, very nice instruments which suit me just fine. I've left positive results about them and the Faith parent company. BUT, I've noticed that they do NOT hold their value well at all. This might be a consideration for you. Some great second hand buys out there.

Wow wow wow!

Wow wow wow!! What an amazing sounding and beautiful instrument.

I had a budget of up to £1400, I went to PMT Cardiff to try some guitars with an open mind.

Was looking for a budget or second hand Gibson Or a Martin / Taylor.

The staff were accommodating and very good at helping you find a guitar. The Taylor and Martin were both superb, The Taylor sounded slightly better but the Martin played better.

Then the the shop guy tried me with a Faith guitar. At first felt like I was stepping down too much.

We cycled through different guitars, tried several out. - high end Ep. And lower end Taylor Martin.

After eliminating one by one I was left with the Martin and surprising to me the Faith. (Neptune Harvest moon)

In end settled for the Faith, it sounded fuller, deeper, richer, better sustain and resonated through my body.

My face and the shop guys lit up every time I cycled back to the Faith.

And it came with a fancy green velvet lined hard case, and was all solid. Unlike the Martin that was solid top and also like 400 pound cheaper than the Martin.

As I had the budget I didnt want to spend less to save money I didn’t need to. I just closed my eyes, focused on the feel and sound and the faith was just better.

Now I am home and playing it every day I am so so happy. I made the right choice. I found my guitar.

Have faith in the faith. It’s an amazing piece. Also the pre amp is awesome. Built in tuner, comes set up. For brand new strings they hold very well i am totally thrilled and also big thanks to PMT guy for his patience.

Long review I know but needs to be. Pls don’t have doubts. Go try for yourself they are amazing.

Received a naked left handed guitar

Received a naked left handed guitar. It is awful, sound is so thin and uninspiring.

The set up is also awful. It could have been just a one-off but I have been put off them for life

If I had paid 50 quid then I wouldn’t complain but I didn’t

Cest la vie

The Best Guitars?

I've got a Natural Venus and a Naked Venus and they're both excellent acoustic guitars. The sound projection is great, as is the build quality.

The wood used for the fingerboards, the bridge, and the headstock are all mildly patterned dark wood that give an individual appearance to each guitar.

The built-in tuners are very good and I think that the look of both guitars is amazing, despite their simple designs.

I like the fingerboard inlay on these guitars - a simple Faith logo at the 12th fret and that's it - no pointless, generic dots littering the fingerboard.

After trying countless guitars in my budget, I found Faith to be the best sounding as well as the most visually pleasing (the accuracy of detail in the finished guitars is as immaculate as I've seen on guitars of any price range).

Recently bought a Faith Naked Neptune…

Recently bought a Faith Naked Neptune mini jumbo from an internet supplier.
A very well designed and well made instrument.
The strings it came with left the guitar dead in the midrange which made me initially think the guitar itself was a duffer. I wouldn't have bought it in a shop because of this.
So I swapped the strings for 13-56 Rotosound JumboKings and dropped the action right down. The neck angle is just perfect so in this config it still drives the top and gives a good response across the whole range. Great for slides and fast chord changes right up the neck. The sound has a real depth to it and some power to draw on when you want it.
I can't put the thing down. Well done Faith Guitars.

Blue Moon Shining.

I bought a Left handed Blue Moon Venus from rguitars.co.uk. This guitar is in a different league to my fantastic trusty Cherryburst Naked Venus, which is also a much beloved instrument. Faith keep innovating and the Blue Moon's Java Mango body and ebony fingerboard make for a classy performer.

Once in a Blue Moon

I have received my new left handed Blue Moon Venus and I'm knocked out. My first Faith was a naked cherryburst, which I still own and cherish, but the Blue Moon is a sublime instrument, made even moreso by the care and attention it received by Richard's Guitars before delivery. This guitar is a joy to look at and it feels like a natural extension of your body when playing it. The unusual wood makes for a unique, yet familiar sound.

Faith 12 fret

Bought a Faith drop shouldered dreadnought 12 fret and couldn't be happier with the purchase. Great guitar that would sit very comfortably alongside guitars at twice the price in terms of quality and voice. The projection is exceptional and the warm mids-bass voice is a real joy.
Exceptional value for money even in the overcrowded mid-priced acoustic guitar market.

Nice guitars but very poor aftersales…

Nice guitars but very poor aftersales service, 3 days now I've been waiting for a reply to try and get a replacement nut for my classic burst mercury. I've messaged faith support 2 days ago and faith spares shop 3 days ago and not one has bothered to reply.
