Scammers posing to be from reputable insurance companies looking to ‘review’ your current policy - a policy in fact that they have no details about
So I was scammed by a Facebook competition to do some surveys and took longer than it should of to click what was happening due to me thinking this is the way the company paid to give the item away.
Then a few days later these guys called regarding renewing my current life insurance. Didn't put two and two together till after I spoken to them for a while and looked at policies and they told me to cancel my current Life Insurance direct debit.
So spoke to my current company who had no clue and to the new possible policy company who said this happens way to often. 🤷
Insurance sold on wording that makes you feel your renewing and they are working on behalf of your current policy holder.
Wrong, very wrong and have asked them to remove all details due to UK GPDR.
Totally misleading and needs looking into.
They run adverts on the net which try to amaze you with promises of 'day one life cover' and they tell you that these plans don't need 'blood tests' (as if normal life cover does). Then the guy slips in that this is ACCIDENTAL DEATH BENEFIT which of course doesn't need medial underwriting because a claim is contingent on an accident NOT death from any other cause. ALL accidental death benefit is day one. Nice to know the FCA are wasting untold millions doing useless work while crooks like this go unchecked.
Scammers buying adverts on YouTube, please report their videos to YouTube as they are claiming to have a 5 star review which is total lies. Latest video ID is 5p1oqwbYDaM please report it.
Why are YouTube not accountable for showing fake ads?
£10,000 protection for £1/week? If you were 50 and lived to 90, you'd have only paid in £2,080, so the maths doesn't compute.
Their ad on youtube 😂🤣 they spell West Yorkshire -> WEST YOURKSHIRE!!!!
SCAM.
This is just a company collecting data. Very expensive & tons of sales calls. Do NOT sign up. Scam
Not at all as advertised. Not cheaper by a long shot.
I was informed that despite being 47 I would have to sign up to an over 50s plan and this would be more expensive. The monthly payments being far greater (2.5X) than what I am paying now to a reputably house hold name. I could not add any details that would realistically tailor my quote. Then I was hit by adverts to sign up for other products.
Totally misleading YouTube advertising. You don’t get a quote having filled in a form, you just get a load of phone calls from insurance sales people on their list. They say the insurance industry is threatened by this new great approach but that is rubbish as there is no ‘new’ approach. It’s just plain old life assurance like anywhere else.
You have always been a valued customer of our business.your great/review for the company and assistance bowled me over with gratitude please I say a very big thanks to everyone who’s helping on this very day
This is so misleading! I thought this company had 5 stars on Trustpilot!
