Left us hanging at the airport. Confirmed driver information and pickup a few days before arrival.
We were on time at Gatwick for our pickup but the company no-showed. We called the driver and he said he wasn't working that day.
Family Transfers office ghosted us and didn't respond to any emails asking where they were or any further emails asking for a refund.
They've changed their website to say they aren't taking any new bookings but would honor existing ones. However, they definitely did not honor our reservation and have our money.

The driver was punctual, the car was in a good condition, and spacious, he even had multiple child seats with him so we could choose. On the way back our flight was early by 45 minutes, and after I texted him he was there 15 minutes before the booked time so we didn't have to wait long. Great service for families!

This company have a policy of taking customers money despite not being able to offer the service paid for. We had a significant flight delay, we kept in touch with them throughout our wait. They told us last minute that they couldn't accommodate our change and they cancelled our booking. They still took the full amount and refuse to offer even partial refund. They label themselves as a family friendly company but they are in fact inflexible and uncaring. They have taken to deleting my comments on their facebook page. They will not do the right thing. Do not trust them with your family or your money. We were left without transfer with two small children after a long delay and long flight.

We used the services of Family Transfers on our first holiday abroad with our 7 month old son.

Before the trip we were wracking our brains trying to find a taxi service which offered airport transfers with a car seat. Let me tell you, not many do! And the ones that do, do not offer the consistency of a dedicated service and their prices are exorbitant.

When we found Family Transfers, all of our worries were put to rest. They offered both rear-facing and front-facing car seats for children of all ages and promised a spree-free journey to all London airports.

The booking process was seamless and we opted for both the transfer to and back from the airport. Payment was done online a few days before the trip and the driver/car details were emailed to us 24 hours before our transfer.

The transfer itself - to Gatwick - was as advertised, stress-free. Our driver Manuel, a lovely man, arrived at our house early and helped us load our bags into the very spacious Mercedes van he was driving. He also helped fit the rear-facing car seat for our son which was virtually brand new. We arrived at the airport with time to spare, allowing us to negotiate our way through check-in and security at a leisurely pace.

On the way back, we received an email 24 hours before our flight notifying us that Manuel would also be driving us back from Gatwick. We arrived in London with a slight delay and were held up at passport control queues and baggage claim but were in touch with Manual throughout. He was completely understanding and was a great help with our bags. Our son loved going in the car again and we had a comfortable trip home.

I would highly recommend the services of Family Transfers to anyone traveling with kids. In all honesty, it was the perfect way to start and finish our holiday!
