I was dreading having to deal with Amazon's customer support...even though I have never had to use it. It has just become expected that customer service is going to be terrible. I couldn't have been more wrong. The customer care representative was friendly, attentive, and quickly solved the issue I was having with a return. It was so fast, I was shocked when he said "ok, it's taken care of. Would you like a confirmation email?" And before I could hang up the phone, the confirmation was in my inbox. This is a perfect example of why Amazon is the beast it is today. Great job, Amazon.

I purchased a ticket to an event for around $60 and since funds are tight in the current economy I decided to take out the insurance offered by FanShield. The day before the event on Friday evening I started coughing, congestion, sore throat and a fever. Obviously I didn't attend the event that was attended by over 1,000 people. I filed a claim for a refund of the ticket price and they told me that I would have to have a doctor's note. I became sick on a Friday evening and my PCP's office is not open on the weekend. I was told that without a doctor's signed statement that I was sick and unable to attend that they would not refund the price I paid for the ticket. I guess I learned my lesson and will never buy ticket protection on another ticket and I suggest that before you buying it you read all of the fine print on what documentation is needed if you are unable to attend your event.

Fanshield came in handy when our kids became ill before Disney on Ice. They approved the refund the same day I submitted the claim, which was ideal after paying all of the doctor’s bills. Just make sure you visit a doctor for an illness related claim, as some form of documentation is required.

We had purchased insurance policy from„Request My Refund” for our New Year Party in The Kings Head Eatery & Music Pub. We Could not attend for New Year event because our child got sick end we were end up in emergency room. After fill out a quick application for our refund, and attached evidence from emergency room, the whole proceder of receiving the refund on our account was witchin two bussines days without of any hussle. In my opinion was really worth to pay for protection policy 6.72$ to each ticket 60$. I defenitely recomend this comapany.

Total scam, purposely vague on what is covered and what is not. Tried every way to avoid paying me my refund which I still have not gotten. They are happy to take your money but will try there hardest not to pay it out, remember one thing. This is an insurance company they are ALL gonna try and not pay.

when we spoke to agent we told her my sister is waiting to hear when her Kemo is starting since she has 6 weeks and dr told her this AM that she can't start until insurance approved and will take apx 3 weeks which will run her into first 2 weeks of march. - we have to move our times and was told if we cancelled within 24 hours - no charge. we spoke apx 2:30 pm so we are well within our 24 hours and should be honored what we were told. also - your refund policy states if medical issues - ok to refund?

I submitted a refund request due to a snow storm which prevented me and a friend to attend the Nutcracker. I did need to provide additional documentation as proof of the snow storm but in the end I did receive a refund for the tickets. I would buy this insurance again if attending an event.
