Fraud

My experiences are similar to the other reviews. I question why are they letting this type of false advertisement to operate and quite disturbing the site takes you all the way to the payment page where personal and credit card information are entered only to be denied at the end. You may complete a purchased but it’ll be marked “pending” then eventually you’ll get an email saying your order was cancelled. Stay far away from this site, seriously.

They said my flight was canceled after…

They said my flight was canceled after I asked them why I couldn't check in. They never told me and they kept the $1260 and have not refunded me. They changed all their numbers and hang up on me when I call. They should be shut down.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR DESTINA HOLIDAYS. I have a responsibility to write a review for this company because it is a SCAM and I LOST MY MONEY TO THEM. Unfortunately, this company is now operating as Destina Holidays. STAY AWAY! YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY. Read the reviews about Destina Holidays.

I originally booked multiple flights to multiple destinations for January 2022. Travel plans were canceled as travel advisories were in place for rising covid numbers. I was informed I could use the credit of $1600 at a later date (Dec. 2022). I now find out that it expires in Nov. 2022 and the exact itinerary needs to be booked. I asked Destina Holidays (formerly farestore.com) to give me an itinerary that is exactly the same as the one originally booked and they have not gotten back to me. The credit would ONLY be honored if it was exactly the same as in January however I had multiple airlines to multiple destinations. They say it is airline policy but the airlines say it is to the discretion of the company you bought the tickets from and they can't do anything. Their customer service is non-existent with useless replies from a bot and they have now ghosted me. There is no way to get a hold of a live agent on the phone to clarify inconsistencies with the information they provide. I have asked to review the terms of their contracts and they have not replied. These companies were operated by Nadeem Quereshi and he should be ashamed of operating shady business like this. Farestore and Destina Holidays operate without business ethics and take people's money without remorse. Travel companies should be able to assist with these issues. My advice is to compare the prices through the third party websites and book it DIRECTLY with the airlines to avoid this headache. You aren't receiving any added value by going through companies like farestore.com or Destina Holidays with this kind of customer service!!! I hope they're all enjoying their vacations with MY MONEY!

Booked a flight Jan 2020 from Edmonton…

Booked a flight Jan 2020 from Edmonton Alberta Canada to Tauranga New Zealand arriving in August 2020 Cancelled due to covid. Tried to rebook in January 2022 arriving in May. New Zealand borders didn't open till July 1st 2022 so that ticket was pending for a week before I finally, after numerous tries that the border was not open. Just tried to book flight Today August 2022 and was informed my credit with Farestore has expired because it's been 2 years since I purchased original ticket. Farestore won't even even respond when I try to explain New Zealand borders were not even allowing me to fly within their 2 year time frame. Please stay away from this dishonest company.

LESS THAN ONE STAR

LESS THAN ONE STAR, because that's not an option - gave one! They ghost you as soon as it comes to giving refunds, they even deleted my online account which had all the previous chat history and ticket numbers. I was within the free cancellation time window when I cancelled my flight. A phone agent (which was ONCE I got luck to connect with) confirmed that she has cancelled and that I was eligible for a full refund. NEVER did I see my refund nor did anyone ever picked up the phone or answered my e-mails and the online chat shows CONNECTING TO AN AGENT for months ! - SAVE YOUR MONEY - DO NOT TRAVEL BUT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO give money!

They take forever to confirm a booking (several days, weeks possibly), and never reply at the phone number or email provided to customers. My first flight was cancelled with little warning (two weeks after booking, no reason given, sent in a sketchy one line email under another company's name!). It takes forever to confirm a booking. Avoid at all costs!!

Farestore doesn't even deserve 1 star

Like many other people unfortunately they did not honor the ticket price.
I bought tickets online, I received a confirmation email with a reservation number.
With this reservation number I checked the itinerary and filled in my personal information on the airline's website (flyTapAir).
After some time, without any warning, Farestore decided to cancel the reservation due to a "technical problem".
I contacted them by phone and after I asked for an explanation about this the agent hung up on me!
Thinking it was a mistake I called again and they cut me off again! I tried to talk to four different agents and they all cut me off!
I then realized that they don't care about customers at FARESTORE
ESPECIALLY, if you don't want to ruin your vacation, don't do business with Farestore!

Blackmailed and Ghosted:
This company gave me a credit refund for a trip I just had to cancel because of money issues (the credit refund came to a total of 530 CAD). Once I the money issues settled and resolved, I wanted to rebook the exact same trip for a month later and would cost 609 CAD.

As normal procedures go, I would only have to pay the difference by between the 609 CAD cost of the ticket and my credit of 530 CAD applied which comes to 79 CAD. I contacted them to apply my credit for me for this trip but they wanted to charge me 205 USD to make the change. Needless to say I was shocked by this number because that's about 270 CAD, about 200 extra CAD just to apply credit.

I told them I wasn't going to pay for it and will dispute the charges. Long story short, they've been ghosting me ever since. And the thing is now they can technically blackmail me because they have my credit of 530 CAD on their end that I can't use unless I pay them their 270 CAD service charge fee to use it for another flight.

Please do not book with this agency, or Skybooker or DestinaHolidays. They are all related and they are aggressive and conniving slimes who want to overcharge you as much as possible. If you choose your right dates and book far enough in advance, you can get a good deal directly with an airline. If I had booked with AirCanada direct I would've only needed to pay 480 CAD for the trip.

They are thieves

They are thieves. Don’t purchase your ticket with them. I had a horrible experience trying to get my money back. They will make you believe that they have submitted a claim on your behalf regarding the refund but they just want to get you off the phone.

Bad service. Company disappeared ! no contact no refund available !

I booked a flight for november 2020 and when the pandemic started and my flights were canceled, I was offered a credit for my 1400 $ flight or a partial reimbursement (about 300 $).
I decided to wait to use the credit (it was valid for 2 years from the flight date). Now that I am trying to book a flight with my credits, I can't reach the company anymore. They do not answer my emails and they have changed phone numbers. There is a voicemail to leave a message and no one has called me back.
Very bad service.I recommend not dealing with them any longer.

This company does not deserve any stars. I purchased 3 airline tickets with FareStore in February 2020 to Australia just prior to COVID.
FareStore originally offered me a 50% refund and once I agreed they pulled the offer. I have emailed and called FareStore monthly ( maybe more ) and I have always been treated rudely and often hung up on. I have never felt so disrespected by any organization.
I will add all of our travel companions who purchased flights with other agents received a refund immediately

Lastly, our carrier Virgin Australia no longer flies into Canada and they have said via phone and email that FareStore only needs to contact them for a refund or transfer of names ( family lives in Australia) however FareStore will not even do this.
FareStore is not TICOS approved which I have subsequently found out is crucial if dealing with travel agents who are reputable and accountable

Please do not book with FareStore

Ooooohhh Nooooo! This company is a rip off. Please do not waste money on a discount ticket that you will not get! You will have to pay a fee to get some of your money back. You have been warned.

Terrible service that cancelled my…

Terrible service that cancelled my booking because "I had not contacted them". The truth was I contacted them two days before they cancelled my flight but was not provided with reasons why my ticket was taking so long to produce.

I initially booked a flight to Mexico with Skybooker, I then started receiving emails from Skyscanner and then finally FareStore. When the payment went through on my credit card I was alerted by my credit card company that the transaction may have been fraudulent. I have no idea why there are three companies involved in one purchase of a ticket but I know for sure my experience with Farestore was unprofessional with delays in processing my flight and then they cancelled it just over a week after I booked the flight...and blamed me for not contacting them. I would never refer anyone to use this company...even though I did not even book with this company!

WARNING DO NOT MAKE RESERVATION THROUGH THIS AGENCY -THEY ARE Lying and are not professional.

I DID MAKE RESERVATION FROM DEC 4 TO 18 TO LOS CABOS FOR THE PRICE $1170 CAD AS IT WAS ADVERTISED BY THEIR COMPANY. Soon after reservation some agent called me that this fly does not exist and try to give me different day and higher price. I did not agree and asked for the cancelation of the two tickets. He was not polite and hang up at me. I WILL SUBMIT AN OFFICIAL COMPLAINT ON THEM TO WESTJET AS THEY ATTRACT CUSTOMERS BUT THEY MAKE CRIMINAL SCAMMERS. ALSO I WILL INFORM POLICE ABOUT THEIR SCAM. I did block the visa immediately and will make warning in WestJet about their lies. I sent the information to their posted email but the mail came back as was not found , Their posted tel also does not work and nobody answer.

Great Customer Service

I used skybooker (Farestore) to book a flight from Toronto to Johannesburg, but had to cancel it within 24 hours as I got a message that 2 of my family members I was visiting were very sick and had just tested positive for Covid so I called to cancel the flight and asked for a refund. The first call was around 10 am in the morning, Hussein was the gentleman I spoke to. He was very helpful, he spent the whole day calling the airlines to try and help me. His customer service is excellent, he called me back a couple of times to update me or explain the next steps. Hussein was able to get me the refund I wanted. I'm giving 4 stars because I haven't received my refund as I write this as he said it will take a couple of days, but I would give 5 stars for his service. To Hussein thanks for such great customer service.
