This company is a SCAM.
I saw some GHD hair straighteners online for £49.95...seemed too good to be true but I checked all the necessary things to show it was safe to make a payment. However, after payment, there was no confirmation number and the page just
disappeared. I had taken screen shots of
my payment and managed to do an online chat with an assistant who denied
all knowledge of any payment. I insisted
that I had paid this money to them and
that the fraud team at my bank were now involved. She then said "oh yes, I have
just checked and can see it now" she
claimed I had purchased some kind of
subscription????? She said they had
never advertised any GHD straighteners.
I replied that I had NOT bought a
subscription of any kind either...I
know what I saw and bought and it was
not a subscription......why would I when
it was hair straighteners that I had put in
my shopping basket??
She made some comment about other companies using their name and assured me that the subscription was cancelled
and that NO monies had been taken, in
fact, she said my card had been
declined.
I had been in touch with my bank and they said the payment was "pending" which means they had not taken any money at this stage but they still could. I was told I had to now wait a full month to a) see if they did eventually take the
money and
b) see if any goods arrived (which they clearly won't!

3 days later, I could see on my banking
app that they had now taken the
money!!!! but I still have to wait the full
month before I can apply for a "charge
back" from my bank.
I'm assured from the bank that I will get my money back but only after the month
is up, just in case the goods turn up.
I know they won't turn up but I will have to play the waiting game now.
These scammers are holding onto £1000's of pounds of people's money,
getting interest on it until they are forced to refund the money by the banks
WHEN THINGS LOOK TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE .....THEY USUALLY ARE!
AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE 😡😡😡

Update: I have since received a full refund which I am obviously pleased about.
The company keep asking me to now delete my review. I am not going to do this as my experience was real and caused me a lot of anxiety.
Viewers should check out the company and make up their own mind whether to purchase from them or not.
Their experience may be a positive one.

Used scam to take 9 Euro from my bank account .It is non refundable. I wanted to buy a chair but it claimed this money is a membership fees. Keep away do not use it.
