Borealis makes super nice bikes. That is it. Their customer service and that of their dealer - The Bicycle Broker is terrible. they are all sorts of fun selling you a bike but after that crickets. Gave up on The Bicycle Broker on a warranty issue so tried direct to Borealis. NOTHING!

Trust me on this as I have a multitude of high dollar bikes, do not deal with them. they've lost the recipe for customer service.

This was the best experience I could have hoped for. Crestone with the XO1 pkg, Lauf fork and Hed Carbon wheels. Saved a pile of $$ and got what I wanted from the start.
Great customer service.
Will buy from them again.

I have my fatbike for 1 1/2 yrs and don't think I could have made a better choice. I knew it would be fun, but did not realize how much fun. Excellent quality of components and the light weight keep me out in front of the younger guys (I'm 69). I am in New Mexico, close to the Rio Grande, and love running single track through the trees along the river. My only complaint was the saddle really hurt my butt, now using a Selle Anatomica. I was pretty new to having a quality bike and the owner and his staff at Borealis were so patient and glad to help with my questions, very impressive service.

Nice fat bike with low q factor. Manitou Mastadon pro fork is incredible.

If you’re the market for a fat bike give Borealis serious consideration. Fit and finish of Borealis frame and fork are exceptional. When I had questions regarding size and options, the CEO spent close to an hour with me over the phone. Once purchased, bike arrived on time, and impeccably packaged. Bottom line. An exceptional product backed by great customer service!

Good bikes at good prices

Third Borealis over the years. Have had a Yampa, Echo, and now a Crestone. Each model through time has been made well, and more advanced with each frame. No issues (just routine maintenance) with any bike, with ~3,000 miles between all three bikes. The Crestone is the most nimble of the three.

Awesome bike so far! I have only been out a few times and really liked the bike. Super light carbon frame is taking a little getting used to, but it also helps with reaction times.

Love this bike- what an Awesome ride! Way more nimble than other fat bikes I’ve ridden.

Great bike, lousy brakes. Avid hydraulics "locked up" unexpectedly. Very disconcerting. Replaced w/ Shimano XT hydraulics and never looked back. Rode the bike extensively at Fountain Hills AZ and Brown's Ranch. 5th fastest age group (66-70) on a 34 minute climb.
