It’s nice to go to a real shop and there was a sale on. Plenty of sizes in the sale. Friendly helpful staff

Bought my third pair of the Carmel straight leg jeans from the lovely Aldeburgh store.
These are the comfiest jeans I’ve ever had. I really hope, as they were in the sale, they are not being discontinued.

I have had to return an item twice because I could not find the right size.
The process was quite easy in both cases.
However at the same time I did find 2 items which I did like instore and in the sale.

I use Click and Collect for most FatFace purchases as it is straightforward and reliable. Our local store is small so it can’t stock many men’s products in a range of sizes but staff at the store are very helpful and it’s always service with a smile. Highly recommended.

My husband tried on a coat which we thought may be a bit too short. Rather than trying to get a personal sale, the very helpful man in Aldeburgh Fatface told us about the tall version that could be ordered nearer to where we live. Which we did- everyone wins, except for the helpful man, sadly! Love fatface, the staff are always great-coat is too. Online is so easy when ordered into an out of town Next.

I bought Rhia black top yesterday in store at full price £35.00 only to find it is in the sale today at £22.00! Feeling pretty hacked off!
Great customer response thank you, however as I wore the top I was unable to take it back 🤷🏼♀️ thanks anyway, I’ll be sure to ask in future though.
A great BIG thank you to Fat Face at Aldeburgh who very kindly found a way to resolve my issue, and refunded the difference! I am a really happy customer which is great as I regularly shop in Fat Face stores around the country.
Thank you.

Super patient and helpful - he made me feel very special, even though I turned up 5 minutes before closing to collect an order and then I started browsing! (Also helped me find the right email confirmation, and find clothes in the right size - went above and beyond! - I hope he didn’t have to stay late updating after me)

The Man in the store was amazingly dismissive and clearly had an attitude towards me, I asked why the attitude and he just dismissed me, hopefully he was having an off day but so so unprofessional with an attitude, he shouldn’t be on the shop floor serving customers. The lady was very much the opposite sadly she was not there at the time 9/2/25 12:45

I placed 1No. order with FatFace online - this ended up being split into 3No. separate collection trips required to collect the order in full.
Watch out for items being discounted immediately AFTER you've ordered them online at full price!
Before I collected my order in full, ALL of the tops purchased were discounted by £10-£12+ each. That would have made a significant saving to me, but I was not offered a credit, despite already having to return more than once, to collect the order in full. Apparently I could have taken all of the items back, ask for a refund and then purchase identical products again, but only if they have similar in stock in the store (as they were not able to sell me the same item back). However, I had unwrapped 2No. of the 3 collections, so was then unable to return them to be refunded. (And this would have meant a further trip to the store!) I also found a random 'kids' clothing item in one of my parcels, which seemed to have been included by mistake. On querying this, the shop assistant took it. Again, no offer of a credit
as a "thank you" for returning the child's clothing, even though it was known I'd already missed out on multiple discounts.
Perhaps bad timing on my part, but more understanding customer service in store would have seen that a credit against my purchases would have kept me as a customer for the future.
