Click and collect not able to collected at the same time and too much plastic!
Selected click and collect as postage was still applicable even though I spent £63, part of my order was ready to collect. I was told that the store would not be able to hold this part of my order until it was all ready to collect. I am still waiting for 4 items, which are in two different packages to be delivered to store. I am going to have to potentially do another two trips to collect the remainder of my order when it comes in. This is ridiculous for a pair/pairs of socks. I ordered click and collect to make it easier and to incorporate a trip out, I am now going to be spending more than the delivery costs in petrol and parking due to my order not being delivered to store or being able to be held.Also I was horrified to see how much plastic packaging there was. My one order has some far come in 3 outer bags and every pair of socks ordered (ordered multiple) is in an individual plastic bag. In today’s world with our knowledge of environmental impact there has surely got to be a better way for a big company like FatFace to package items, no plastic, biodegradable bags or paper. They are also supposedly only recyclable in store, realistically how many people are going to save their packaging and return to store?
