Facebook to Transcript is a free online tool that turns public Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube videos into text and subtitle files. Paste a public video or Reel URL and download TXT, SRT, or VTT. There is no signup and no paywall on the core tool. The product is built for people who need a transcript from a shareable social video: creators writing captions, researchers quoting a clip, editors adding subtitles, and anyone who wants readable text instead of watching the whole video. Facebook videos run on the homepage. Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, and YouTube videos and Shorts have their own pages. The same privacy rules apply on every tool. Two ways to get text. Extract reads captions the platform already attached. That path is fast when captions exist. AI listens to a short slice of audio and types the speech when captions are missing. Auto tries Extract first, then AI. You can also upload an audio or video file instead of a URL. Facebook to Transcript does not log into your Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or Google account. It is not a Meta, ByteDance, or Google product. It cannot open private posts, Friends-only clips, members-only videos, or direct messages. Those limits are by design. Accuracy follows the microphone, the language, and whether the video is actually public. We do not claim to be the world’s best transcript app. Skim the result before you publish it. The tool is a WAHA Studios project. Website: https://fbtotranscript.com Contact: contact@fbtotranscript.com
