I’ve been enjoying the breathtaking beauty of Georgina’s work online for a while now. It’s silly but I kept admiring and longing for a Story Plaid but almost felt like the incredible timeless magical feeling of them were too special to own. I (obviously) finally shifted my thinking when I saw her latest Story Plaids. The 'Gu deó Giogag' Story Plaid: The forever Thistle feels like it was always meant to be mine. I was blown away by the lovely packaging, softness and pure beauty of my plaid. I purchased it for my elopement to Scotland but I know when I’m not wearing it, it will be displayed as the most precious piece of art in my home.

I was very excited to receive my order. The scarf and bag are beautifully made and look even more stunning than in the website photos. I am looking forward to the weather getting colder so that I can snuggle up in my giant scarf.

For any lover of handcrafted pieces that might just become a family heirloom - this is the place for you! I love my shawl :D

Wonderful product and great communication with the seller

The quality of Georgina's work is wonderful, be it the giant story plaids, or shawls and scarfs and now bags too.
I brought a delicately woven shawl and a cosmetics bag along with some woven fabric bundles. The bad can double up as a smart clutch style bag, as its a good size for a mobile phone and purse.
The customer services is always good, even if things go awry slightly. On this the automated email notifying me that the parcel had been dispatched with tracking number hasn't been sent.
Within a few hours of emailing an enquiry, I'd received the posting date and tracking number, allowing me to find the parcel at work.
I definitely recommend Feather and Hay for both the quality of the work and the c great customer services.

The item I ordered exceeded my expectations and when I wear it if feel like I am wrapped in love. Shipping was fast, even half way across the globe.

Beautifully packaged with a dried flower posy. The small bag and lavender pillow are gorgeous and fabric offcuts are of a decent size to use for small makes. The merino fabric is so soft.

This is one of the most gorgeous pieces I have purchased. I have followed Georgina’s account for some time and finally bought a story plaid- so thankful I did! She was a pleasure to work with. When first opening my package you can tell how much time and effort goes into creating one of these. The intricate work and detail is absolutely stunning. Not to mention how warm it keeps me even in below freezing temperatures! I am so happy to have stumbled upon the Feather & Hay account. It’s truly a joy and I love having a little piece of Scottland with me.

I have been to Scottland and bought scarfs from high end stores and none compared to your master handmade scarfs. My Thraw giant scarf is just simply beautiful. The fabric is full of texture but is soft to the touch and the colours are so reminiscent of the landscape that I cannot fail to be reminded of home. Wrapped in beautiful packaging reflective of the artist, the scarf truly is something to treasure.

The shawl I bought is amazing. Perfectly woven. International shipping made me wait, but in covid times, it's to be expected.

I bought a beautiful handwoven Feather & Hay wrap preloved, unfortunately it wasn’t as described and came to me with a number of pulls and broken threads. I reached out to Georgina to see if she could help. For a very reasonable price, Georgina has done an excellent job repairing the wrap giving me confidence that it is now safe to use. The repairs are at such an high standard that you’d never know that there were any issues now and it came back to me beautifully wrapped with a lovely message. Her communication was excellent throughout and even with severe snow and covid homeschooling, she managed to get the wrap back to me extremely quickly. She definitely went above and beyond what I was expecting. I would thoroughly recommend Georgina for wrap repairs and I can’t wait for the opportunity to purchase a wrap directly from her.
