Template-heavy content failed to perform on TikTok

I purchased a package of 40 short form videos from Feedbird, with TikTok explicitly identified as a primary platform. The service was sold as providing platform appropriate, promotional, conversion focused content.
What was delivered did not meet that standard.
The majority of the videos reused the same one to three visual templates across nearly the entire batch of forty videos. When I raised concerns, there was pushback regarding the effort required to move away from this approach. Selling a package of 40 videos while relying on a small number of recycled templates is not a reasonable interpretation of delivering 40 unique videos.
Additionally, the TikTok content itself lacked basic short form fundamentals, including strong hooks in the opening seconds, use of platform native or trending audio, and sufficient visual variation or pacing. The content read as generic informational narration rather than promotional content designed to drive engagement or conversions.
Notably, the initial videos received zero organic views on TikTok, indicating that the content did not meet baseline quality or relevance thresholds for the platform. By comparison, a simple, unedited test video using only a trending sound on a new account received organic views immediately.
I did not purchase a content creation service expecting to then pay to promote content simply to reach any audience. If a company is not equipped to produce distinct, platform relevant short form content at scale, it should not sell packages claiming to do so.
Based on my experience, Feedbird significantly overpromises and underdelivers, particularly for TikTok.

Easy and to the point

From the first time I saw an ad for Feedbird on my Instagram page I was intrigued. After the on-boarding process and quick review, posts were generated and uploaded to my sites within only a few weeks.

Their professionalism and independence to work with the materials provided has so far proven to be the right choice.

Waste of money.

I hired Feedbird to help with posting and scheduling. They said it will take 10 days to get the first round of post. After the onboarding where i explained the pain point and how my product was solving those points, I received the first round of posts 2 days later. The posts were so bad, no talk about my product, wrong message for my audience, posts so silly that I couldn't believe how bad they were. They say the first month is tricky since they are learning your brand, but the quality started so low, that it will take 3-4 months to get it to where the quality should be. I wasted $150. Bad, save your money, don't do it.

- It would certainly not take 3-4 months to reach usable, high-quality content. The content you received was an initial draft, and we would have been more than happy to revise it based on your feedback so it reflected your product and value proposition more accurately.

Great experience and content so far

I've been with Feedbird going on 2 months now for social media content, onboarding was seemless and the content they've produced was on brand and engaging from the outset with minimal input from our team. Very happy with them so far and will try more of their services as their pricing is very reasonable. Communication has been very good as well, good systems in place vs working with unorganised freelancers in the past.

I do not recommend Feedbird

I do not recommend Feedbird. I wish someone would have posted this for me, but I thought I'd try.
The have a professional site and process, but the quality was so bad that I gave up giving revisions because they were getting worse.
I ended up with three videos that were pretty much a bad blue background and white text.

Feedbird Transformed My Brand and My Time

Feedbird is truly unbelievable. In the beginning I was concerned if this service was even for me, but OMG why did I decide so late? The posts and videos they create are amazing and perfectly reflect what my company and my brand are all about. My Instagram and Facebook pages now look professional, consistent, and elevated, and I’ve already seen an increase in sales. They took my workload from ten hours a week down to just one.
