I signed up for an annual membership but have found the experience disappointing. As the service is entirely app-based, there is no direct support available when you have questions. The platform promotes deals and partnerships with investing platforms that I have not found effective, and overall communication is confusing and unclear. For example, it is often difficult to tell whether you are registered for a webinar or what time it is scheduled to start. I regret signing-up.
I paid for this service a year ago at a cost of £29. Inevitably, I stopped using it after a couple of weeks (their advice was no help to me) and the app itself fell out of date on my phone. Unbeknownst to me, I had been put on an automatic renewal and yesterday I had the joyous surprise of being debited £99 for the pleasure of another years membership. I was given NO WARNING of the renewal by email or notification but, conveniently, seconds after taking my money, I received the first email I have had for the company in months. I contacted them within an hour for a refund (they don’t make it easy to find out how to do so) and they are refusing to give me one.
I find it very sad that a company I believed was trying to empower women is in fact trying to scam them.
Clever finance model. Glossy and sound content but with a very hidden auto renewal which you cannot get refunded without lots of effort. The small print says something about because you get access to all of their content then you cannot cancel or get a refund even 1 day into the year paid in advance £99.
Looks like they are raking in money from a huge subscription base where many cannot cancel or get a refund. No emails sent to remind you and impossible to get any contact from customer service. A Danish company.

I signed up on a discounted annual rate and did not actively use the service. My membership was then auto-renewed at nearly four times the original price.
I received a reminder email, but it did not state the renewal price or clearly say that a payment would be taken. When £99 was charged, I contacted support immediately and requested a refund.
I was repeatedly told the renewal was “non-refundable” and was only offered partial refunds (first 50%, then a reduced-term option). A full refund was only issued after I formally disputed the payment with my bank.
The experience felt unnecessarily stressful and misleading. I would strongly advise others to double-check renewal pricing and cancellation terms.
I have experienced really disappointing customer service with this company. I was unable to cancel my membership back in July 2025 as their website kept chucking me out, the representative I spoke with could not have been more helpful and advised this was cancelled from their end. I come to my emails this week and I have been charged £99 to renew. I contacted their team immediately as I am unable to afford this price and I haven’t actually used the platform since their deal for £29 membership through a webinar last year. I explained the situation and was met with a stock response of their terms and conditions and that a renewal email was sent which had fell into my junk folder so I was non the wiser. I was offered a 50% refund even after explaining the situation and advising I was unable to afford this. I haven’t used the platform and should have asked for a refund under their 30 day guarantee but I wanted to support women in business, that was a mistake on my part this women led business doesn’t care about other women’s financial situations or the fact they have lied about cancelling a membership. Really poor customer service I would strongly advise against paying for memberships with this company they don’t care about the women they are trying to get into investing all they are bothered about is taking membership money. How sad.
1-star
£99 was taken from my bank account without my clear consent. I have never used this platform or its services, and despite emailing to dispute the charge and request a refund, I have received no response at all.
This unexpected payment has caused me financial hardship. The lack of customer support and failure to acknowledge emails is extremely disappointing.
I would advise others to be very careful and to monitor their bank statements closely.

I signed up for a webinar last year and a 1 year membership at a cost of £29 only to find they have charged me £99 for an automatic renewal hidden in the terms and conditions. Not only that, but the card I used expired in the interim and they debited my new card without me updating my details. An absolute lack of transparency and greed displayed here. This abuse of trust has left me extremely disappointed and I will absolutely not be supporting this business any longer. This is by no means an act of women supporting women and completely contradictory to what their brand portrays.
UPDATE: After back and forth communication with their happiness team I have been granted a full refund.

They will take large sums of money despite cancelling your subscription a year ago. They were aware that my subscription was inactive, because when I tried to log in to query and speak to someone directly, it stated that my subscription was inactive. So why would they take funds? It seems extremely deceptive and downright theft. Beware, you can only contact them via email. Avoid at all costs

The whole experience with Female Invest has not been great. I managed to sign up a year ago through my apple account and they took money from my account-109. However, I cannot login to this account and actually use there app its ridiculous. I have tried contacting them but there extremely slow to respond and took days to get back. The app its self is not great, they market themselves on empowering women but I think this is just a gimmick. It is okay for a complete beginner but beyond that it has no other financial worth. People should really look to finimize much better content and analysis and really worth it reads and updates. They lack meaningful content. They should start focusing on reviewing customer feedback too.

After posting the review, I contacted the company and asked for a refund. They have refunded me.
I signed up to a free trial a year ago. I have not used the platform for 9 or 10 months but have just been charged £99 on auto renewal. I did not receive any notice that a payment was going to be taken. It then took me around an hour and several attempts on the website to cancel the membership - felt the process was made particularly difficult.
Extremely poor - would not recommend. Particularly disappointing given the ethos behind the brand. Avoid!

Edit: after a few emails this issue has been resolved and I received a refund.
Avoid. They lure you in with a discount offer and do not make it clear that they will sign you up for a rolling membership with auto renewal - taking £100 of your hard earned money without permission. I’m told the usual 14 day cooling off period doesn’t apply - of course it doesn’t - they know what they are doing. They should be ashamed of their ‘customer support’. Be alert if you choose to hand your details over to these scammers…

So much great information in the app and the boot camp. Definitely worth the investment and I would recommend for friends to try too!
