Very good explanation of how to invest. I feel confident I can do this moving forward

Love female invest - I think they do as good a job as possible to educate women from all backgrounds & parts of the world. Which is not an easy job! Particularly enjoy their bootcamp, thoroughly thought out and comprehensive.
Also beware of bad reviews, cancelling subscription is possible although I am not sure if there is a notice before payment is taken. It's also clearly visible in the app when your membership renews and at what price. Lastly, I am suspicious when people don't notice payments being taken from their accounts for years ...it's our own responsibility to monitor what goes out, auto-renewal is very common. App/desktop UX/UI friendliness is not the best but they are growing so nothing a good product team can't fix!

Great platform to learn more about investing. Inspiring, empowering, and practical. No excuse not to make your first investment. I love the app too for daily news and webinars. Let’s close the gender gap in investing!

It seems I’m not alone in having a VERY SERIOUS issue with automatic renewal of my membership which I DO NOT WANT.
It’s proving impossible to cancel my subscription online - following their instructions DOES NOT WORK. I’m constantly being sent round in circles and in spite of having written three times to the support address I haven’t received a reply.
I’m becoming increasingly worried as my renewal date comes closer and I read that this problem is universal for those who wish to cancel.
My opinion is that this represents a fraudulent practice. Beware.
(In addition although the initial publicity is enticing, the information provided is below average and certainly not worth the money.)

I am honestly furious about this experience and feel obligated to warn others.
I purchased a one-year membership starting on 15 January 2024, which was clearly shown in the platform as valid until 15 January 2025. Despite this, I was charged 109 EUR on 1 January 2025, 14 days before my paid membership period had even ended.
I did not receive any invoice for this renewal. I only discovered the charge by accident when reviewing my credit card statement while preparing to pay my bill. If I received an invoice or a clear notification, I would have acted immediately.
The company claims that a renewal reminder email was sent, but I have carefully checked my inbox, spam, and bin, and I cannot find this email anywhere.
I did not use the service at all during the renewed period. When I contacted customer support shortly after discovering the charge, they refused a full refund and instead offered to keep 50% of the money for a service I never used. I find this completely unreasonable.
What makes this especially disappointing is that this company presents itself as empowering women and promoting financial awareness, yet their billing and refund practices feel opaque and punitive toward customers.
After researching further, I found a large number of similar complaints on Trustpilot and Google Reviews describing the same issues with early renewals and refused refunds. This strongly suggests this is not an isolated case.
Charging people significant amounts of money before a subscription even ends, without a clear invoice, and then refusing to refund unused services is not transparent or consumer-friendly.
update: after several emails I got my refund!

As someone who grew up with a family who struggled with money, coming across Female Invest has been lifechanging. Being able to take over my finances and become more financially independent as well as help my money mindset change is something I hope to pass on to my sisters, and my children.

I found Female Invest through instagram, followed the account and everything later on happened very quickly. I grew up with a kind of aversion of money and investments because of the role models that I had, which are the main reason for the financial gap, so the main reason for the female invest being closing this gap really caught my attention, so I gave myself a gift: a year membership. The journey of learning how to deal with my money even though I don’t earn much yet it’s been so especial and I know it’s going to be rewarded in the future thanks to this amazing creators that are always present to help us with everything inside the app, provide us great educational programs and women who I admire very much.

My experience with Female Invest has been deeply frustrating and disappointing.
After completing my first year of membership in 2024, I chose to cancel because I had barely used the platform and did not feel I received enough value. When I requested cancellation, their team offered me an additional year of access for 2025 as a retention gesture, which I accepted in good faith. I understood this to be a goodwill extension – not a new paid commitment.
Despite this, at the beginning of 2026 they went ahead and charged me £99, and without any notice. I did not receive any renewal reminder email, but they claimed one had been sent. I was completely blindsided by the charge, which put me in an uncomfortable position.
When I contacted them, they refused to issue a full refund, hiding behind non-transparent terms of service. The entire process felt like being gaslighted – as though my clear intention to cancel in 2024 wasn’t registered. I even began to second-guess whether I had actually cancelled at all.
It was only after thoroughly searching through my emails that I found written confirmation proving that I had formally cancelled my subscription back in 2024. Even with all my narration, they continued to resist a proper refund, offering only partial refunds and alternative arrangements I did not ask for.
In the end, I had no choice but to file a dispute with my bank to recover my money.
For a company that claims to empower women financially, the lack of transparency and accountability I experienced was shocking. I would strongly caution anyone considering a subscription to be very careful – the auto-renewal practices and customer service approach are not what I would expect from an ethical, customer-focused business.
Update on their below response:
1. There was no form of notice or communication that accepting complimentary access for another year would reactivate or continue a paid membership. The offer was accepted at the point of cancellation, with no conditions stated, and written confirmation of accepted cancellation was received afterwards.
2. Female Invest did not issue the refund I received. The funds had already been recovered via a bank chargeback. They only offered a full refund after I had written public reviews, which was of no use to me as I had recovered my money by myself.
3. I did not miss a renewal email. I searched my inbox and records thoroughly; no such reminder was received. If it had been delivered, it would appear in my search history.

They took the vail off the whole investing thing, which seamed very untouchable and unwelcoming. I'm very happy to have found the platform and be able to learn.

I have been a member for over a year and truly recommend this app and the Bootcamp. It has, as advertised, changed my life and given me the confidence to take control of my finances.

Not slating the information as I got the course last year and it seemed very informative. However having not used it since I was surprised to have been charged £99 out of nowhere. I haven't used it since last year. Tried emailing and I haven’t had a response. Would appreciate it if I could get an acknowledgment and someone could assist me with we refund please.
I have been following Female Invest from the very beginning of its creation, and I am truly impressed by how much it has grown and developed over time. The hard work and dedication of the founders and the entire team really shows.
The information they provide is clear, well-structured, and thorough. The meetings, webinars, and talks are engaging and insightful, and customer support is always helpful and responsive. Through Female Invest, I learned the basics of investing, saving, and managing a budget in a way that finally felt accessible and empowering.
I highly recommend it to anyone looking to build confidence and knowledge around personal finance.
