We are delighted with the transformation that Kate made to our old bedroom furniture. We now have a fresh new look to our room. She performed the work in a timely manner and took great care to match the pieces to an existing built in wardrobe. Kate was very responsive to what we wanted and we are so pleased with the result that we have already asked her to refinish some more furniture for us.
Kate is very skilled in her craft and a delight to work with and we highly recommend her.

We have a solid oak fire surround which required a drastic colour change from a not very nice orangey colour to a very light oak colour. I contacted femme fetal finishers. Kate responded really quickly, she picked up the piece. Kate listened to what i wanted, asked questions then produced exactly what I had in my mind, an amazing skill, and all in a week !!! Fabulous quality work some parts were quite fiddly but no problem for Kate. I love the finished product thank you Kate. I would highly recommend femme fetale finishes.

I couldn’t believe the new lease of life an old chest of drawers has now after Kate worked her magic on it .
It has now been reinstated back into our home with new glass handles ,after spending quite sometime in our garage .

Wouldnt hesitate to use Kate again. Reasonably priced and efficient service. Not to mention a top quality repair carried out - replacing two broken stretchers in an antique chair, and colour matching.

Good service by this company, collection and delivery included and only about 2 weeks turnaround. I feel like I have a new set of bedroom furniture.

We recently had our solid oak table stripped, sanded back and stained. We are absolutely over the moon with the results. It looks like a brand new table and we have had lots of positive comments from our family and friends. We highly recommend Kate!

Kate did an amazing job returning 2 painted bedside cupboards back to the original wood. They now look stunning. I would definitely recommend her

Highly recommend Femme Fatale Finishes. My cane conservatory furniture was given a new lease of life by Kate, who spray painted it to make it look brand new again!! She is a perfectionist and cares about customer satisfaction. I was very pleased with the result.

Great service from start to finish. Brief was to bring some life back into a 1940's hall stand whilst retaining some of the original features. The oak sections of the stand have been brought back to their original colour and look great as does the overall look of the stand itself. Professional service, professional outcome so would highly recommend.

Kate has done a great job in changing our tired honey pine furniture into the white furniture it is today. It matches really well with our new decor and we love it. Kate is also very friendly and professional and the service she provides is excellent. Thank you Kate!

Excellent service from Kate and fantastic end result on stripping back a stair case with intricate detailing.

Kate recently stripped and naturally lacquered 5 dark stained Ercol dining chairs for me. It was a challenging job but Kate achieved a brilliant finish which I was delighted with. I found Kate to be very professional, responsive to emails and clear with pricing. Overall, an excellent experience which I would highly recommend.

Kate is extremely professional, friendly and helpful. She has transformed our old bedroom pine furniture into a fabulous new white suite - so glad I didn’t buy new.

We recently lost my Dad back in January and wanted to lighten the Bureua that he made 30+ years ago when he began his career as a cabinet maker. This is something which he and Mum discussed prior to him getting poorly. We contacted Kate, sending her a photo of what the Bureua looked like and specified that we wanted to keep the leather work inside the same, as it is what Dad had done himself! Kate was very responsive and came back to us with the idea of not only keeping the leather work, but keeping the inside the same dark mahogony colour as a reminder of what it once looked like. She came to collect it from us that same day and took it work on within her workshop and even invited us down once she had bleached it so that we could make sure it was to our taste and exactly what we wanted. Once she knew we were happy with it, she completed the look (even pollished the brass!) and delivered it back to us within a couple of days! Kate is such an amazing lady with an abundance of talent, not to mention a cracking sense of humour! We have already organised our next project with her, something else in which Mum and Dad had discussed. We are so pleased as a family to have chosen Kate to carry out this project and now Dads Bureau looks the best it has done in years and can live on in his legacy, just as he would want! Thankyou so much Kate, we will most certainly be reccomending you to many!

The job was to paint (lacquer) a dark wood monks bench in a paler colour. Kate was 100% professional, informative and maintained good communications. The job was completed within a very satisfactory time frame and we are delighted with the result.

Kate transformed our old, damaged pine cupboards into beautiful furniture, with a fantastic painted lacquered finish to suit our new décor perfectly. Our cupboards have been given a new lease of life, thanks to Kate’s hard work and attention to detail. Highly recommended, thank you Kate!
