Advertised as plays beautifully with upgraded Fat 50’s. Truth is when it arrived and picked it up it had terrible fret buzz and the middle pickup was non functioning. I have had to immediately take it to a Luthier to try and sort it out at considerable cost and inconvenience to me.
It arrived in Australia from UK in good time and well packaged, unfortunately the invoice total included the cost of shipping which pushed it over the $1000 limit so that cost me another $300 in unnecessary duties.
Overall a disappointing purchase, I will never buy another guitar again without holding it in my hand first.
The shops description was in my opinion misleading. 😞

I bought a Tom Anderson from Fenderfever. I was a little apprehensive about shipping from England to USA, but they shipped it quickly and it arrived 4 days after my order. It takes longer for me to packages from California. Guitar was as described. Would definitely buy from this shop and recommend to others.

A honest fender telecaster heavily reliced good flaming on the front nice gold plated fittings and mother of pearl machine heads.

This is the second guitar I bought from FenderFever. The first, unfortunately had to be returned as it required a full re-fret and this wasn't made apparent on the listing.
I decided to give them another chance a few years later with a Stratocaster I had been watching for some time. I was naturally cautious and my three emails to them all went unanswered. I then rang them up but the conversation wasn't that satisfactory. Once I added the guitar to my basket I received a pleasant email and was promised more photos. These never came. I took a chance and ordered it as postage was free. In general the description was fairly accurate; two dings on the body had been filled (although only one was explicitly shown in the listing photos) and these didn't bother me. But the fingerboard had an large indent at the 9th fret. This wasn't mentioned in the listing and all the website photographs omitted this part of the neck. In addition the guitar cut-out on position three of the pickup selector, and despite being told the frets had been crowned I had to pay for a full fret dress. The indent has now been filled with a mix of glue and rosewood dust and the guitar now plays great after a full set-up. But all in all my experience as a paying customer was not positive and my opinion and concerns did not feel valued.

I loved dealing with Fender Fever. It has great selection of instruments that you simply can't find elsewhere unless you want to pay import costs etc. I found the chat function really helpful in making my decision to purchase a short scale MIJ Jazz Junior. These are amazing basses and mine came to me set up perfectly out of the substantial packaging and protection it came in.

Visited Fender Fever today to try out a Fender Stratocaster and it was a good experience. Guitar was just as advertised and owner Max could not have been more friendly and helpful. Fair negotiation on the trade-in price for my guitar too. A great selection of interesting guitars worth checking out.

I purchased a Gibson SG Classic from Max last year after visiting his shop and comparing a few excellent SG’s he had in store. Max went out of his way to make sure I had every opportunity to decide on the ‘right’ guitar for me, and I am still enjoying the guitar today.

I have just purchased another guitar from Fender Fever, an amazing Warmoth Telecaster Deluxe, again the service was excellent, the guitar is exactly as described in the advertisement and the drive from Cambridge to his premises was definitely worth while. I highly recommend this company and would definitely purchase from Fender Fever again.

Excellent communication, really nice guy and the guitars are perfect. Have bought and sold guitars to Max on multiples times and his prices are fair and honest. The guitars are always set up well and his descriptions are very thorough and well represented.

After searching for months for MIJ Fender P Bass and trying lots I finally found one that fitted my vision for what I wanted and at a sensible/affordable price. First class response and service. I initially called to enquire about this second hand guitar. I originally got through to voicemail but then I had a call back from Fenderfever within a minute, a very fast response! Fenderfever were extremely accomodating with my many questions. I wanted to inspect the guitar so visited Fenderfever and I was very impressed by the cleanliness and detailed organisation of their guitar workshop and lab.

I found Fenderfever to genuinely have my needs in mind. Rather than just sell me the guitar I was asked how I would like the action/attenuation/adjustment of the bridge for tremelo arm/the type of new strings that they would fit whilst I was there etc.

All in all a first class, friendly and professional service from Fenderfever that goes the extra mile in every way. I thoroughly recommended Fenderfever and will be sure to purchuse from them again!

Purchased a Fender Custom shop guitar from Fender Fever on Ebay. They were actually masquerading under a private account and not offering returns so were avoiding their legal requirements to accept returns FOR ANY REASON !
Seller refused to accept a return and had to open an ebay case. Guitar had a snapped , embedded screw in the headstock that they failed to mention. They denied it and claimed it was mentioned but anybody who can read English can see the description was deceptive !
Shocking customer service service and only motivated by pure greed. I have all the evidence of this transaction so message if you want more details...
