Poor service

Was told it would take 72 hours, ended up taking 10 days. After asking for timescales and lack of responses, I contacted customer services who arranged for the area manager, Matt to call me. Matt said that he would organise for a discount due to the poor service but he never contacted me again and I needed the bikes back so ended up paying full price. When walking one of the bikes back, the chain was hanging off and handed been put on the cassette properly. On the other bike, the brakes were very stiff and the cable snapped a day later - I haven’t bothered asking for it to be fixed as I don’t have the time to hassle them to fix it. No criticism to the guy in the workshop - he is just overworked by Fettle and they don’t seem to care that this is impacting service.

Matt at the Earlsfield branch was…

Matt at the Earlsfield branch was brilliant! Helped me out with my road bike- lots of helpful tips and taught me as he worked on the bike. Totally above and beyond service. Will be coming back and telling cycling friends. Really impressed.

Excellent service

We brought the bike in because the brakes weren’t working at all. The team provided excellent service—they were quick, extremely polite, and really helpful. They fixed issue on the spot. It’s rare to find such honest and generous service these days. Highly recommend this shop for anyone needing bike repairs or maintenance.

Top tier. Having tried a few, these were easily the best bike repair guys I've used. Efficient service & knowledgeable team. The bike is running good as new.

Great service from Matt at Fettle Earlsfield…

I put in my bike to Fettle Earlsfield for what I thought was a simple problem: faulty front brake. However, it became a very complicated transaction, both to source the part (no longer made), and to get it all reinstalled (apparently there needed to be a firmware upgrade on my gear change battery, and only the old firmware would work!). Anyway, Matt, who runs the shop, was given very little support from Shimano, but showed real determination in getting it sorted. He eventually found the necessary firmware on some obscure website, got everything working and now the bike is riding like a dream. Throughout it all, Matt was very responsive, never missed a beat, and delivered as a complete professional. I could not have had better service

Excellent advice and customer service

I had a great experience at Fettle Earlsfield. The guys were incredibly helpful and provided a lot of useful advice and information when I asked many, many questions about new tyres. Then, once the tyres were delivered they went out of their way to fit them and do a road safety check on the same day so that I didn't have to wait.
Overall they were really knowledgeable and friendly and I'm sure I'll come again.

Friendly team, good service

I was able to book in easily using the Fettle website, and the co-location with KwikFit is a great idea. Very friendly team, who chatted through the issues I had, including a scraping sound on the front wheel. I dropped my bike off on a Wednesday and was told I would get a quote before starting the work, but two days later I had to chase for a quote. The work was then completed the week after, and the bike was ready the following Friday. I picked it up and again the process was easy - I paid via a link in the text they sent through. However when I rode off there was still a slight scraping noise on the wheel, so I had to go back - they fixed this straight away. All the other parts seem well fixed. Overall it is a convenient way to get your bike serviced, because I found I couldn't book in elsewhere (other companies only take walk-ins, which is difficult to plan for), and the team are friendly and helpful. I'm giving it a 3 stars because of having to chase the quote, and having to go back again to fix one of the issues I'd raised initially.
