Fettle 

Upon a health inspection of our German Shepherd, the vet confirmed that she had some dental plaque. I was offered a packet of this seaweed and added it to her main meal daily. Indi then went to the groomers after using this for several weeks who confirmed that her teeth were great with no plaque, so I’ve ordered more and can highly recommend.

After over 9 weeks with no delivery, I was promised — in writing — a full refund and the product as a goodwill gesture. This promise came directly from the company’s co-founder.

They were even still advertising on Instagram knowing their products were out of stock, and their website didn’t indicate any out-of-stock status — which felt misleading and dishonest. When I mentioned this in an email the co founder didn’t even think about that idea.

I followed up five separate times. Each time, I was told something different. On one call, the co-founder claimed the refund had already been processed and the order cancelled, yet appeared unaware of his own written promise. When I quoted it back, he backtracked. The experience was really disappointing and frustrating.

Customer support was often unresponsive or gave conflicting information. Due to the delay, I had to purchase an alternative product from another supplier, which arrived within 24 hours and was cheaper.

I was told the co-founder would contact me in a month to show what’s changed and improved, but after all this time, they still can’t get my order sorted. Also they don’t tell you the customers that the product or packaging is out of stock on their website — it only adds to the frustration and confusion.

After posting my review, I received a LinkedIn notification showing that 2 colleagues, including the co founder had viewed my profile — which I found unsettling and extremely disturbing. Since then, the company has twice tried to have my reviews removed from Trustpilot, but both times Trustpilot upheld my right to share my genuine experience.

In reading other reviews since, I have noticed a pattern of similar complaints from other customers about delays, broken promises, and inconsistent communication.

There are far better and more reliable companies out there — do your research.

Our rescue Lulu has been loving the kelp seeweed powder as a topper. Since I ordered four packs on my second delivery I received a free goat milk which I also use as a topper and it has gone down a treat. This morning I made it into milk and she couldn’t get enough. As she’s not drinking as much liquid as I think she probably should this is a great way of supplementing.
Customer service for me has been impeccable when I emailed with some questions and comments. This is a super important point as unfortunately a lot of companies lack in this department.
I would like to try the pumpkin powder next however am also aware of budget hence it will be a treat now and then.
I will report back on the impact the seeweed powder will have on Lulu’s teeth. Fingers crossed there will be some improvement!

Shipping wasn’t the quickest - but that was made clear when ordering. Turns out they’ve had a few dispatch issues recently. No worries my end though. Main thing is my dogs LOVE the kelp seaweed powder, especially my boy who can be a bit fussy - not now, he’s straight in there at dinner time chomping away. Great product, great price. Going to be a regular customer :) Thank you

This company have a fundamental issuing with delivering their orders
The product is good when you can get it but every order I have placed there has been delays maybe I shouldn't have given them a final chance
This has been the worst delay to date getting responses to my emails but no action or delivery
They need to be more transparent with delivery time and being honest if they are struggling that much close the orders for a week or two to get caught up
I like to support small businesses but not at the expense of not being able to get reliable delivery I will likely go back to an alternative supplier

Fettle have now replied to my review and have restored my faith in their customer service. I can’t rate the product yet until I’ve received and tried. As I said in my previous review they seemed so genuine and caring in updating orders . I do appreciate that they are a very small company trying their best….. but unfortunately automated emails did not coincide with delivery process.
Having just had a bad experience purchasing on line , I panicked thinking how could I be so stupid doing it again.! So wanted to warn others.
But it looks like I was too quick to judge and I apologise to the FETTLE TEAM and thank them for putting things right. 👏👏 And wish them well.

We, that is my VERY healthy 14 year old Show type, Blue Roan, English Cocker Spaniel, called Betsy whom I nearly lost to Lungworm at 9.5 years old, but due to her being fed a healthy raw diet and not given fed lots of chemicals and injections that are not necessary she survived. Also many thanks to Daniel Doherty and his veterinary clinic, My Vet 24/7 Limited and My Vet 24/7 Emergency Vets and not forgetting the MOST WONDERFUL and AMAZING veterinary students and professionals at the Royal Veterinary College Hospital (RVCH) at Hatfield who treated her in an oxygen chamber and let her survive a 50% of survival. I NOW regularly give her Fettle products, which I BELIEVE in all honesty are THE BEST on the market for NATURAL and PURE pet supplements. I use ALL the products. I regularly give an ample amount of the Fettle Scottish seaweed powder supplement sprinkled liberally over not only Betsy’s raw food, but my other dog, my 22 month old, Show type, Orange Roan, ECS, called Tuppence. They both have a good sprinkle of it over their raw food Bella and Duke super enriched and the little one, Tuppence just inhales it down in seconds, whereas the older one, Betsy is a little bit more demur and savours every mouthful!! lol 😝

They also have each day for digestion and to improve their immune system and to lessen inflammation the Natural and Best Goats Milk, which I mix 2 teaspoons of the powder with 60 ml of warm water with a whisk to make a lovely mixture to make a refreshing drink for each of my girls. Each one LOVES their goat milk down to the finest drip. 💧.

One occasion, Betsy had a very bad upset tummy and I had to use Fettle’s Pure & Natural Pumpkin Powder for Dogs. I only had to use it in a couple of meals and it cleared her diarrhoea up straight away. I’m going to, however, use it all the time as I’ve read its brilliant for using to prevent anal gland issues, which some cocker spaniels experience.

My girls LOVE ALL the Fettle Pure and Natural supplements and that means that I’m happy that my girls are happy too.

Also I’m going to be welcoming an addition to the family an additional four paws to the family; an 8 week, Blue Roan, Show type, English Cocker Spaniel girl, called Billie Bluebell at the beginning.of August, so she will soon be having some Fettle supplements too 🩷💙🧡💙🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🥰🤗

My 2 rescues absolutely love the goats milk,this for me is the best way to give them the hydration and natural goodness alongside their raw diet.Makes great pupicles in hot weather too.

I can’t thank Fettle enough.

I was looking for something to help clean Prince’s teeth — the vet’s prices were eye-watering, and trying to brush them myself? He was having none of it! I came across Fettle on TikTok and figured I’d give it a go. Honestly, I wasn’t holding out much hope — anything similar we’ve tried before, Prince just turned his nose up at.

But here we are, just over a week in, and dog breath is no longer a thing! His teeth are already looking noticeably cleaner, and I haven’t had to wrestle him once.

We also got lucky with the goat milk powder. It wasn’t something I was actively looking for, but it arrived the next day — and thank goodness it did. Since Day 1, I’ve struggled to get Prince to drink water. He’ll happily lap it up from a puddle, but clean water? Not a chance.

I measured out the goat milk, put it down, and he LOVED it. Straight in, no hesitation.

And finally — your customer service team deserves a shoutout. They’ve been nothing short of fantastic. Friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about what they do.

We’ve been using Fettle kelp seaweed powder to help with our 11-year-old spaniel Bonnie’s plaque buildup and bad breath — and so far, we’re really happy with the results! Her breath has noticeably improved, and we’re excited to see how it continues to work on the plaque over time.

Having a had an issue with the delivery service on two occasions, this small independent company who works hard to help and deliver a fantastic range of products to its customers not only gave me a refund but also sent me my order with an extra item. I am beyond grateful and will continue to purchase these products because they do work

My lab is nearly 7 years old and I can't believe I've never given her goats milk before now. This first pack was actually a free one as it came as an extra with the 3 packs of the seaweed granules i bought to help with her teeth and breath, and all I can say is she absolutely loves it and drinks the lot in one go. I'll definitely without a doubt be buying it again

Fettle is one of those rare companies who concentrate their business on just a few excellent products instead of diversifying too far, too much and too quickly.
This way helps us as consumers to feel part of a family who care passionately about their offerings and their doggos.
They make contact, if necessary, promptly& clearly & deliver swiftly. The seaweed tooth care powder for dogs works wonderfully too.

I wish I had known about this years ago, my Lab always looked fit and active but her yellow teeth were her giveaway that she is almost 9 years old. Not anymore! What a difference this makes a wonderful white clean smile from my late middle female Labrador.

I’ve never seen my dog so happy. He’s started having the seaweed powder and goats milk powder mixed in to his usual food and he licks the bowl clean every time. He’s been getting fussy (unless it’s cheese or pizza) in his old age but he’s back to devouring his dinners.
His tummy is reacting well to the supplements too.

Initially we had some confusion over subscription but over just a couple of emails this was promptly sorted. Alex was so very helpful. I didn’t realise until I started using this product, what great value for money it is and because you only need to use a little at a time, the two packs I got will last for quite a while. My 1yo Cockapoo Toby loves it sprinkled on his main meal, he even paws his bowl for more!. His teeth are lovely and clean, his breath is much better and his coat looks so shiny and healthy and thank goodness less itching. After just 3weeks he is now an all round happy itch free doggy. 🤗
I would most definately recommend Fettle to all pooch parents far and wide, delivery is quick and easy and the customer service I experienced was outstanding.

I’ve been using the Fettle for a few weeks now. My Cockapoo is raw fed but has breath like death!!!

I can’t say Ive noticed a huge improvement tbh but I’m going to persevere as I’m also using a pro biotic for his gut too so hoping that these two things will help me out. He has a habit of wanting to sit close by but as it gets warmer the panting will get worse and currently it’s bad to the point I have to turn his head away and face the opposite direction! So I. Hoping that I don’t have to and that cuddles and kisses will resume and be bearable!!!
