FFUNGA Native is a premium medicinal mushroom company dedicated exclusively to native species. By focusing on mushrooms that already grow in our landscapes, we avoid introducing non-native strains and help protect biodiversity. Our core range of functional mushroom tinctures includes Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Tremella, Turkey Tail, Maitake, Cordyceps, Chaga, Birch Polypore, and Truffle, and is available year-round. We also offer a seasonal membership featuring limited-edition extracts released quarterly or biannually, alongside rare annual releases showcasing exceptional native fungi. Beyond our tinctures, we run workshops, guided walks, talks, consultations, and collaborative research projects, all with the aim of bringing fungi further into public conversation. Based in London, our mushrooms are grown in the rolling hills of Abergavenny, South Wales. The company was founded upon the London Native Fungi Library, a living genetic collection of gourmet and medicinal mushroom species created by our founder, Kit. Most of the mushrooms we cultivate originate from this collection, ensuring traceability, authenticity, and a strong connection to place. Our long-term vision is to establish a thriving UK native medicinal mushroom range, expand native fungi projects to cities around the world, and ultimately explore wider native plant pharmacopeias.
