We have used Louise’s services twice in the last 18 months, on both occasions resulting in mortgages that are both competitive and a good fit to our circumstances. All main stages of the transaction were conducted over video calls at a time to suit us, mostly evenings.

We first used Louise to source a mortgage for our daughter, a first time buyer. My wife and I were both involved in the process to guide our daughter, but we needn’t have worried. Louise tailors her approach and advice to her client, in this case someone with no experience. To begin with Louise provided a clear explanation of what would be involved and what would be required from our daughter.

This transaction was pretty straightforward; it was a first-time buyer with a clean credit record. Louise worked seamlessly with our solicitors and the transaction went without a hitch. Throughout Louise was proactive and managed all stages in a timely manner. We were so impressed we decided to engage her again for our own remortgage a few months later.

The process for our own mortgage was very similar, although we are both seasoned borrowers and we were clear on our borrowing criteria. Even so Louise was able to source several competitive products and we selected a mainstream lender, with legal services bundled as part of the mortgage deal.

Once the legal process started we ran into issues. The bank-appointed solicitors were woeful, losing documents, requesting information multiple times and changing personnel on our case several times. With our existing mortgage expiry date looming Louise stepped things up on our behalf. She spent hours on the phone chasing and finally escalating our case. Eventually Louise managed to wrestle completion over the line.

We are very happy with our mortgage product, which now looks super-competitive next to today’s rates. The issues we experienced were with the lender’s appointed solicitors. Louise’s focus and tenacity in getting things sorted were well beyond expectations. I would thoroughly recommend her services.
