Disappointing and Unprofessional Service at Fiat Garage
On June 10th, my campervan was towed to a Fiat garage in France after waiting nearly a month for an appointment. It took two weeks of follow-ups for them to perform a diagnostic, with no further work initiated. After more prompting, they dismantled the gearbox and provided a repair quote of €8,818 on June 26th. I approved the repairs the same day.
Since then, the garage has been unresponsive to my emails and calls, leaving me without updates on the repair timeline. This lack of communication is deeply frustrating, as my campervan is my traveling home, and I’m unable to plan my return to the UK. The uncertainty—whether the van will be ready in a week, two months, or longer—is causing significant stress and impacting my mental health.
The customer service has been appalling, marked by delays, poor communication, and a lack of accountability. I share this experience to warn other customers about the unprofessional conduct at this garage. Potential clients deserve to know about the risk of such unreliable service
