My 1-on-1 call with Mr. Daniel Williams was very informative. I received a lot of information in a brief time. Mr. Williams provided help that I wasn't aware I needed. It was an amazing lesson, and I am very thankful that I could meet with him.

A Well-organized platform for learning online publishing! I received responses within 24 to 48 hours and personal phone calls from the company representatives to navigate the platform. I am very excited moving forward to continue my learning process with Fiction Profits Academy. A very positive group of people to work with, the program directly lays out step by step the practical tasks and timeline needed to move a project forward; in addition, they address the mental hurtles of learning a new skill with lots of encouragement. I really feel as if I have a team of experienced experts at my side.

My coaching call was eye opening. What I love the most about this program is that they have a proven business model and the coaches are great at troubleshooting. This program is not for the faint-hearted, but if you roll up your sleeves & put in the time and money, then you can watch as the results follow and build something you can be proud of.

The one-on-one call I had with Daniel accomplished my objectives and then some. His guidance helped me prepare to launch my first Facebook Ads and to know I was ready for this milestone. Daniel guided me on adjustments that I believe positively impacted my launch. What I really value about the FPA coaches is they want me to be successful and are willing to share what works based on proven concepts and their own experiences as independent publishers.

I would give FPA **2.5 out of 5 stars overall**, but my experience with the course itself was very different from my experience with the Bootcamp.

**The Course: 4/5 Stars**

The actual course content is solid, and I learned a lot from it. My biggest issue is that it relies almost entirely on videos. I am a reader by nature and would much rather have something I can read, highlight, print, tab, and quickly reference later. Trying to find one specific piece of information means searching back through videos rather than simply searching a document.

For a course that costs around **$1,200**, I think there should be options for different learning styles, such as searchable transcripts, written reference materials, or a protected workbook.

Some of the content also needs updating. There were multiple times when the process shown no longer matched the current platform, so I ended up Googling and figuring it out myself. I understand technology changes quickly, but paid course material should be updated or at least include notes when a lesson is outdated.

Despite that, I would still give the course itself 4 stars because the underlying information is genuinely useful.

**The $8,900 Bootcamp**

This is where FPA lost me.

For nearly **$9,000**, I expected substantially more than the regular course. I expected hands-on guidance, reliable support, detailed feedback, and a much more individualized experience.

One of the selling points was that during the first 30 days Karla would work directly with us and we would have more one-on-one support. In my experience, she was unavailable for all but one of our meetups during that period.

The meetups were also disappointing. I expected structured instruction and problem solving. Instead, much of the time was spent with participants casually talking about various things, with relatively little actual teaching. Community is great, but I did not pay nearly $9,000 for group conversation.

Attention to detail was another major problem. Within my first month and a half, I can recall **at least four occasions** where I submitted work and received feedback that appeared to be for a different book or pen name. When I pointed it out, I sometimes felt I received attitude and was simply told to resubmit. For a premium program built around individualized support, that was extremely disappointing.

**Be Prepared to Spend More**

The $8,900 is also not necessarily the end of the spending. Throughout the process, there are various additional things you may be encouraged to pay for, and those costs can add up quickly.

What I discovered is that there are often **much cheaper ways to accomplish many of the same things** if you are willing to research, compare options, and do some troubleshooting yourself.

Ironically, I have received **more useful support from the free FPA Facebook group than I received through the paid Bootcamp platform**.

If you are uncomfortable with technology, need someone to walk you through things step by step, and have thousands of dollars available to spend, you may find more value in the Bootcamp.

If you know how to Google, watch tutorials, search Facebook groups, and troubleshoot problems yourself, I think the **standalone course plus the free Facebook group is a much better value**.

**Post-Bootcamp Access**

I was also disappointed with what happens after the six-month Bootcamp period. My understanding was that we would retain access to everything except the Bootcamp-specific portion.

That did not match my experience.

Technically, you may still have "access," but much of what made that access valuable is removed or restricted unless you pay more. I strongly recommend getting **in writing exactly what you will retain after six months, what disappears, and what requires additional payment** before enrolling.

**Would I Do It Again?**

No. Knowing what I know now, I would purchase the standalone course, join the free Facebook group, research cheaper alternatives for additional services, and keep the thousands of dollars I spent on the Bootcamp.

The course content is good. The issue for me is the value of the Bootcamp compared with its price.

**Course content: 4/5 stars. Overall FPA experience: 2.5/5 stars.**

My recommendation is simple: **buy the course, use the free Facebook group, research alternatives before paying for extras, and think very carefully before spending nearly $9,000 on the Bootcamp.**

Daniel is very informative and tells you exactly what he thinks of your blurb. If he says it needs fixed, it needs fixed. I rely on his vast knowledge and his expertice.

I really liked the way Daniel corrected and improved my blurb throughout the video. He was straight to the point, very professional, and explained everything clearly. I especially appreciated the helpful tips he gave me to make my blurb stronger and more appealing. His feedback was easy to understand and very useful. I would definitely recommend his guidance to anyone looking to improve their book blurb!

Daniel was fast in his response and got straight to business. Straightforward review and effective teaching and help in earlier review.

Michelle was a great listener and helped me out with my new gmail's accounts. She was great with helping me with my training to publish my lead magnet e-book. I was able to make improvements to my magnet lead e -book per her quick look at what I had done with my e-book. I wish we had more time than 25 minutes for our 1 on 1. I felt a little rushed that kind interfered with my focus on asking her questions, so I missed a few questions to ask her. That was not her fault just a design of the training process. I will save those questions for my next 1 on 1. Great Job Michelle!
