If you are considering Fictive for ANYTHING, please try the following:
Take whatever cash you may have for your project, liberally soak it in kerosene, place it in a can and throw a match at it.
Your project will be no worse off, your money will be gone, but it will be over much sooner and it will at least provide some heat.
Fictive will give you nothing but delays, your money will be just as gone.

Transparency is important, in today business environment and others have the right to know how certain company continue to scam those who are trying to bring their ideas to life and become a better version for themselves, and their families. I work with FictiveStudios for 5 years and I still haven’t get what I paid for. People like Seth Chopp, Ross Emery, Jay Bradly, Daniel Diaz, Bryan Cooper, Brandon Smith, and Derrick Bruno just to name a few. FictiveStudios company is a total scam There’re not who they say they are. I’m saying this from my own experience with them starting since June 2021 and they still haven’t delivered my product. After my project been handled by so many different project managers like Seth Chopp, Ross Emery, Daniel Diaz, Brandon Smith, and Derrick Bruno just to name a few. After so many crashes and delays by these individuals I asked to handover my application so i can have someone else work on it. That handover process is now being handled by Derrick Bruno who is extorting me money that I have to pay for Copyright and Trademark registration number along with patent protection before handing over my source code or I can have them provide me the Copyright and the trademark registration number with the patent license if I paid them to do so but either way I need theses things before they can give me the source code even though I’ve been making payments on the server the code has been stored
I have signed all the documents they sent me to sign off as the project completion and yet nothing to show that’s the kind of people they are

My website doesn’t even work anymore and I can’t get anyone on the phone to fix the issue after working with more than 7 different project managers during this 5 years period. They will switch your project manager if things are not going the way you wanted

WARNING
This company presents itself as an app developer, but after 3.5 years of working with them they have not produced a usable app. The simple project I described to them was expected to take 3 months to complete. My project included a front end, a back end, and a super admin panel. In three and a half years, we never completed the front end or back end, and the super admin panel was never started.
The first problem was the turnover of staff at the company. I dealt with eight project managers over the first two years. Each time I had to explain the project in detail again as no one ever had been briefed by the previous manager. Every time I complained I was promised the moon and the stars; they would absolutely finish the project and it would be error free. After two years, I stated that I was going to sue them for breach of contract and that finally prompted them to give me a manager that promised he would not stop until the project was a success.
The errors in the front end ranged from basic to complex. Some were as simple as spelling and grammar errors, calculation errors, or formatting problems. These things should not have been problems. Spelling the name of the app wrong, and errors with basic calculations seem like simple problems that would be easily avoided. Some errors were more substantial such as the core functions of the app not working as expected. I spent hours of time and significant money to test the app to give them a comprehensive list of what needed to be fixed. Each time they “fixed” something, it was evident that they never tested it, or that they didn’t understand what it needed to do because it was wrong as often as it was right.
Eventually, I insisted that I wanted to give them one comprehensive list of all errors that must be repaired at once, so that the back and forth piecemeal work would come to an end once and for all. I sent them a list of approximately 75 items. I repeatedly asked if they had questions and requested updates. They insisted all was fine they were working on it. Finally, they said it was complete. Ever hopeful, I began reviewing the work. It was so riddled with errors, old and NEW, that I gave up. I searched for an app that solved the problems I had been trying to solve and found one that had not existed when I started down this path with Fictive almost 4 years ago.
I decided to cut my losses and move on because there was no point in wasting any more of my time with them. I contacted them and asked for a refund as they never produced the app. A new representative called me and BEGGED for a chance to finish the project 100% error free. Having already found a solution, I did not need this, and I did not want to go through the list of errors, carefully documenting them again for them, when I had already done that. I told them that if they put in writing that they would refund me without me having to take them to court if they did not finish the project without errors, I would agree to let them try to finish the project. They agreed to this and said they would send me an email within 24 hours stating their agreement. I have never heard from them again, three weeks later.
The next time I am in contact with Fictive Studios, it will be in a court for breach of contract.

0-Star Review: A Complete Disaster - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Our experience with Fictive Studios was nothing short of a complete disaster, deserving a resounding **zero stars**. What began on **September 12, 2022**, as a promising mobile app development project has devolved into nearly **2 years and 8 months of extreme frustration, missed deadlines, frequent project transfers from one person to another, and a shocking display of unprofessionalism.**
The project's prolonged duration, far exceeding the **initial 3-4 month timeline**, is just the tip of the iceberg. Communication was abysmal, often requiring multiple follow-ups for even the simplest updates. Promises were consistently broken, and the progress made was minimal, leaving us with an **unfinished and unusable app.**
Adding insult to injury, despite the project's incomplete state, we were charged a hosting fee for a service that was never fully delivered. To date, Fictive Studios has not only failed to refund this unwarranted charge but has also **refused to provide essential documentation, code access, and critical credentials**, even after repeated demands. Their unresponsiveness and lack of cooperation in handing over our own intellectual property is a testament to their incredibly poor business practices.
Furthermore, a significant red flag for potential clients: be extremely cautious when granting them access to your Google and Apple Developer Accounts, especially with linked credit cards. We experienced a **fraudulent purchase of alcohol worth approximately $180** through our Google account, along with **nine separate $19.99 payments** from our linked credit card. This incident has raised serious concerns about their handling of sensitive client information.
This developer has demonstrated a profound lack of accountability and respect. **Do not be fooled by high ratings and 5-star reviews; they appear to be either fake or coerced, given before projects are even completed.** They explicitly tried to coerce us into giving a premature 5-star rating, which we strongly resisted. **WE DEEPLY REGRET EVER ENGAGING FICTIVE STUDIOS AND URGE ANYONE CONSIDERING THEIR SERVICES TO LOOK ELSEWHERE.** Save yourself the significant financial loss, wasted time, and immense stress. They failed to deliver on every front.

I gave the studio money, and never heard from them again.
It is not worth continuing to work with…
It is not worth continuing to work with Fictive Studios. Initially, Samuel Victor, the Mobile App Strategist, assured me that the company would complete my project within the 130-day contract timeline. For a month before signing up, his communication was excellent. However, once I made the majority of the payments, he became unresponsive and unhelpful.
Mark Lewis, the Senior Project Manager, communicated from July 7th until November, with the last contact on March 19th. The app was paid off in February for $33,200, but as of July 2nd, over a year later, it remains unfinished.
The payment breakdown is as follows:
- Project Signing: $1,500
- Project Initiation: $7,140
- Wireframes (10%): $2,880
- UI/UX Finalization (10%): $4,280
- Development Phase 1 (20%): $7,260
- Development Phase 2 (30%): $10,140
- Total Cost: $33,200
Once they received my money, communication and progress stopped from Mark and Samuel, and they shifted focus to other projects. This left me, and many other customers, with unfinished projects and wasted time. I have experienced emotional distress, almost had to file bankruptcy, business losses, and a financial impact of over $75,000 in six months. Including missed business opportunities, my total loss is $108,000 between what I paid for the app and potential earnings if the app was out. My website made $50,000 in 15 weeks.
The app still has numerous misspellings and improper sentences. There is no collaborative effort from the team to complete the project correctly, with attention to detail.
I have spent over 140 hours creating PDF documents, including three separate documents, and providing screenshots and specific instructions. Despite this, they continue to disregard my directions. I strongly advise against working with Fictive Studios. Granted, they have made a few changes but nowhere near close to finishing.
I haven’t even started testing the app yet. Not to mention, they haven’t created the admin panel for the app. They’ve breached the contract. Stay away. They don’t mind taking payments and not fulfilling their contract as expected and if you wait too long you can’t get your funds back from the banks after roughly 30-60 days.
"Also, pay attention to the one-star reviews. They’ll respond and say they have no record of your name. Many companies do this to make it seem like the customer is mistaken, which is why I uploaded pictures and proof of the receipt, part of the contract, and text messages as well."
I don’t mind coming back and changing my review if they decide to fix the issues I’m experiencing. However, as of now, I haven’t received what I paid for, and I’m still losing valuable time. I may be out of business now if I don’t get this app out in time because of this situation. Currently I’m back to update this and it’s 14 months & counting and still stuck on beta phase. I recieved a hour long call yesterday at 1:46 pm from Mustafa stating that the developers haven’t built the app right and will need to start over or if we move forward we could face major issues if we release.

Think long and hard before using Fictive Studios. They misrepresented to me what their developers could accomplish. Their contracts are designed so that you pay 80% of the project up front before learning what it truly is that they can do. You later find yourself without a functioning app and expenses already paid out for intangibles. Save yourself and find real developers.
