Called 4 times / got told something different 4 times !!!

I got some vacation and wanted to make a contribution IRA to my investment account with Fidelity. I had to call five times from vacation to get this wire happening. It still hasn’t happened because each time I call they give me different instructions on how I should wire the money from my Chase account to Fidelity. It has now bounced back four times. I am hitting the deadline. I’m on vacation. I’ve now spent hours on the phone with Fidelity trying to help me to make this why I happen. It has bounced back four times already so bad.

Please be very careful when using their service. They will hold your account to ransom without giving a clear and definite explanation...it took the in tervention#coinforensiclabs#....before I could understand what was going on.
Fidelity Investment wanted to cart away with all my money so they were looking for every method to shut me out, first they restricted what I could do, second the said, something something deficit so they suspended my account indefinitely.. thank goodness this is now a thing of the past, please be careful when using them.

Unreliable

Fidelity Bill Pay will not deliver your payment on the "Deliver By" date. Service is unreliable at best.

customer service is really bad

Their customer service is absolutely terrible!! I've been with them 10+ years. They never call to schedule a yearly review. They get your money and you don't hear from them. Also it's a different person every time. So you have to explain your situation to every single person. Most recently I was doing my RMD's. I spoke with Fidelity Troy, Michigan office, Mike and he said a guy Will will call me to discuss my account. Will never called back. Several days later Caleb called. He couldn't answer my questions and stated that he was going to speak to the tax department and call me back. That never happened. There is no excuse to not communicate with the customers. I'm pulling all of my money out of Fidelity. Fidelity has been totally useless.

They do what’s best for Fidelity

They do what’s best for Fidelity, not what’s best for their clients. Don’t bother calling an agent, their hands are tied and we are at the mercy of another “system”. It’s the reason they tell you they can’t do nothing about anything. I’m going to decentralized from here on out!

This platform is unreliable

This platform is unreliable; they are a bunch of thieves, and they will lure you into bringing money for them. Avoid them at all costs. I know #Crop#Mines................ to be exceptional and they pays constantly without any issues.

Poor customer service

I tried opening a 401k account, there was a glitch in their system and wasn’t able to access it in weeks. Very poor customer service, they just transfer you from one agent to the other, long wait time and no one is able to help.

BEWARE Risk Assessments

Been a Fidelity customer for 40 years. With NO notice whatsoever, Fidelity placed my accounts in Risk Assessment. My $ has been FROZEN for 1 week & Fidelity will not give me ANY info other than they are working on it (not why, not when it will be over, not what I can do)! Do NOT place your funds here. They can be FROZEN without notice or reason!

Fidelity’s customer service is…DISGUSTING

Fidelity’s customer service is absolutely disgusting. When I asked why a transfer was taking so long, they said that their back office was backlogged. The customer service rep outright lied to me on multiple occasions and when I caught him in his lies, he quickly put me on hold and never addressed the lie. They could care less about customers. Transferring to Schwab immediately.

I reported 3 charges on my debit card…

I reported 3 charges on my debit card as fraud. Two weeks after I reported the fraud, I received a letter stating they did not find fraud. No way to appeal, no way to challenge their findings. I am a disabled veteran on a fixed income, and now I am out $398. For some, that's not too much money, but for me, that's a lot of money, and it was done fraudulently. Fidelity customer service is of no help. I don't even know what evidence they used to prove no fraud. I asked for it, but I did not get it. Banking with Guido would be safer. DO NOT USE THIS HORRIBLE FINANCIAL INSTITUTION.

Had an hour long introductory…

Had an hour long introductory appointment with a Fidelity advisor Noreen Procaccini scheduled to review how to plan for retirement and rollover of my 401K. I received a phone call from another individual who never explained why they were calling in lieu of Noreen or who they were and rushed me off the phone in 10 minutes never even asking me any questions about my net worth or rollover amounts etc. Mentioned they only work with clients with a net worth of over $500k but never verify my net worth. Very much a waste of time and left a bad impression of Fidelity.

I would give them 0 stars if I could

I would give them 0 stars if I could. Take your business literally anywhere but here!!

It’s not possible to have an account grossly mishandled the way these people handled my mother’s survivor benefit pension.

They took FOUR YEARS to reach out and alert us of the account, when we had been in contact with Bank of America in the year or 2 following her death. With the exception of the first agent we worked with, EVERYONE ELSE IS INCOMPETENT.

The agents will be very nice on the phone when they are speaking to you, but will lie. Even after I did my due diligence and called 4 times over the following 2 weeks and spoke with 2-3 different agents to confirm they received all necessary documentation.

I get a letter in the mail A MONTH LATER that because I didn’t upload the INSTRUCTIONS sheet, they are unable to pay out the Survivors Benefit until it is uploaded. Adding ANOTHER 6-8 week wait to an already ridiculously long and emotionally distressing experience.

They will also tell you that all updates regarding your progress will come via mail, your email address and NetBenefits account. I did not get ANY alerts to either of those platforms.

I have been dealing with the second batch of agents since DECEMBER and it has been such an unpleasant experience. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!

Choose another company

Choose another company that has customizable options for your needs. The agent I spoke to had an attitude when I was the client that had questions. So I'm going to choose another company bye.

Executed Unauthorized Trade

I placed a very simple trade to sell 166 shares of a security. Received an Order Preview (with screenshot as all my screen activity is recorded), yet somehow the system executed a Sell Order of my entire position (922 shares).
This of course means I am on the hook for all of that capital gains tax because of the erroneous 756 shares sold. I tried to speak to every department at Fidelity, especially since I have a screenshot of the order that should have been executed. Absolutely nothing got resolved. I therefore had to file a complaint with FINRA.
