The worst company and platform I have…

The worst company and platform I have had the unfortunate experience with. I would never trust nor use any service or web service with there name attached. The customer service was bad I mean really bad. Outsourced to India with no standards for English speaking requirements, long wait times and even longer to resolve an issue. Then your account will be restricted at any time with no reason or explanation. I tried the investment platform because my father used them and thought they would be much better due to longevity, boy was I wrong. I do not recommend them save time and frustration go anywhere else. I have.

Was a Fidelity customer for over 15…

Was a Fidelity customer for over 15 years, had almost $250,000 with them and traded thousands of trades between 2011 to 2026, had withdrawn most of the money in 2019 and put a down on 3 homes that I purchased in Florida. All of a sudden I was about to start trading again and deposit $70,000 into my account and learned they closed last week for reasons or explanation what this was from, no phone call, no letter, no email, nothing. Terrible disgusting people, and company. When I had money in there they would jump for me, now I'm nothing to them not until I discovered about Frontier Invest Corp from my research on TRUST pilot. No complaints, just business as as standing on their words with compromise. Stay clear of this company, it has to be one of the worst things I've experienced from a platform in my life. I will continue my business with Frontier Invest Corp.

Incorrect 401k Loan Processing

I requested a loan through my 401k plan (emergency funds) and thought that everything had been processed…..unbeknownst to me the incompetent representative processed as a quote not an ACTUAL Loan! So now I’m placed in a bind and had to start from scratch waiting for another loan to finally be processed the correct way! When I say Livid it’s an understatement…. I requested a manager to see if the issue can be escalated to process same day, And of course it’s a big fa NO! Hate this company! Do better and coach your employees the correct way!

After more than 30 minutes of waiting…

After more than 30 minutes of waiting on hold, Fidelity customer service was still unable to explain why selling my RZLV shares would result in a $1400 loss when the total value of my position is under $1000 and my displayed average cost and total loss are less than $50.

The inability to clearly justify this discrepancy raises serious concerns about transparency. The experience felt manipulative and shrewd, leaving me with the impression that the system may not be acting in the best interest of its customers.

Fidelity vs Charles Schwab Investments

I opened investment accounts with Fidelity and Charles Schwab (both with the same dollar amount). I wanted to see whose AI investments would do better. It didn't take long to figure out that Charles Schwab was the winner. They increased my investment while the Fidelity account lost money in the first 30 days. Strike 1, but the final strikes came when I requested an appointment. I did it online and received an email confirmation with the date/time and that Jonathan would call me.
I waited 10 minutes after the scheduled meeting start time - no call, text, or email so I reached out to Fidelity to talk to a supervisor. After a couple of transfers, I got to the correct person. Who apologized and said that Jonathan showed as busy. Busy? Busy with who it wasn't with me, who had a confirmed appointment with him. I don't understand how a company of this size can employ someone who is so inconsiderate, disrespectful, and unprofessional. Business 101: If you can't make a meeting, let the customer know!

Needless to say, I have closed my account and will never invest with Fidelity again. I prefer to deal with companies/people who treat me with respect and are respectful of my time.

I used to be a diehard fidelity account…

I used to be a diehard fidelity account holder. Today they closed my account, no notice, lost a big trade opportunity when i noticed i was restricted. Called them and they basically said "we are no longer doing business with you because of adverse action"... not hey, lets call our client and have them verify a few things.. they just said screw off and get out of here.

Context: I won some money on draftkings and I got a substantial raise this year, put it into stocks... applied for options trading and they approved with my new reporting. Not a lie at all and all info was verifiable since it was literally being put into the brokerage.

Sorry fidelity for being smart with my money. You guys are disrespectful ungrateful PoS and this business will die with how fast their traders are exiting or being booted for more userfriendly free online methods.

I cant wait to laugh at that result. Should do better to follow the golden rule.

Severe Technical Glitch: Orders Filled but Positions Hidden

I experienced a severe technical failure on the Fidelity platform this morning that lasted for approximately one hour. Although the system confirmed my buy orders were successfully filled, the purchased shares failed to appear in my account positions.
As a day trader, timing is everything. Because the shares were invisible in my account for over an hour, I was physically unable to sell them during my target price window. By the time the positions finally showed up, the stock price had plummeted, resulting in a significant financial loss.
What is more frustrating is the lack of accountability from customer service. While they acknowledged the platform-wide issue, there was zero effort to offer a remedy or even show genuine concern for the financial damages caused by their infrastructure. For a major brokerage, this level of unreliability and poor support is completely unacceptable.

Horrible Customer Service

I opened a Custodial Roth IRA for my child. I had to turn around and request to close the account. Horrible customer service over the phone at Fidelity! Highly do not recommend.

I wish I could give a zero rating

I wish I could give a zero rating. Fidelity is a horrible company. They do not even pretend to practice Customer Service. Been begging them for over a month to correct my account due to errors that they made. The customer service representatives are rude and give out wrong information. I don’t even think they are trained by some of the things I have been told by them. They escalated my case to this supposed “Back Office” 18 days ago. Still nothing. They get upset when you call for a status. They tell you they will call or email you with an update and they don’t. My employer reaches out to them to try to help get my account corrected and they told her the issue had been resolved and most certainty has not. I ask to speak to a supervisor and I am told that is not allowed. Please whatever you do, don’t trust Fidelity.

I was setting up an account on my phone

I was setting up an account on my phone. The app would not let me get past a certain point. I was so frustrated. Call Fidelity. Got a girl who was so excellent walking me through the process and dealing with me being frustrated. Wish I knew her name. But if you are looking for a broker , off to a good start with Fidelity

Send a wire from Fidelity

Sent a wire from my cash investment account on Feb 3, 2026 and the money never arrived at the far end bank and status on fidelity shows no federal tracking reference #.
Fidelity very difficult to get any resolution. Spoken with them on numerous days to attempt to resolve, but nothing to date. Several thousand dollars now in limbo.

Terrible

Terrible. They wouldn't provide four signatures I needed for a time-sensitive appointment. I had to cancel the appointment, a week later, as they still aren't cooperating, or even responding. Try Merrill or Edward Jones. Both were easy to work with and seemed to care.

Be careful with this Investment…

Be careful with this Investment Company!! You really need to understand the fine print and terminology if your money is with Fidelity. It could cost you thousands in penalties and taxes if YOU don’t understand their fine print and terminology. After YOU understand it all, then make sure Fidelity AND your qualified bank (IRA) or other financial institution have a clear understanding of what you want done with your money. Especially if you plan to do a Roll-Over.
They can’t assume responsibility for their mistakes either.

Very rude customer service

Very rude customer service, pressure me to go with certain financial advisor without my consent. Also, repeatedly made last minute changes to my appointments without informing me and even once just replaced someone else to meet me on the day of the call without giving me any advanced notice. Now, they won't even allow me to choose my advisor near my zip.

PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ANY MONEY TO THIS INVESTMENT COMPANY, THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU YOUR OWN MONEY WHEN YOU REQUEST!
My husband retired in June of '25. They NEVER issued him a check. He died in November of '25. Still no check. I am beneficiary of his estate. Still no check. Every time I call they say "the checks in the mail." February '26, still no check. Whoever this Thomas Mendola is, people should hope that they don't have to deal with him. He NEVER answers his phone and will not call or send letters with information about account. They should get rid of him, I'm not the only one who has had problems with him.
Please find another company to invest with.
