Don't be fooled by seeing them on tv!

Had dealings with them in the past things mysteriously go missing or get broken.after they deny all knowledge 🤔. If selling with them watch them like a hawk.list every single item, take photo of every item and watch charges!

Great Auction Experience

Thanks to Will Farmer and the team for the sale of our Clarice Cliff collection. Will was spot on with the valuations as was reflected in the hammer price on the sale day. Could not fault the attention to detail or the very smooth sale process, would recommend Fieldings without reservation anytime.

Art-excellent service and knowledge.

I’ve been an occasional buyer of art. I don’t live locally and from my experience discussing lots in more detail or having further photos sent has been very good.
I’ve also contemplated the sale of a few pictures and I’ve found their art specialists attention and knowledge excellent.

I sent over 200 dolls to auction and in a year they auctioned nine. I asked for the boxed dolls to be sent back, they sent my entire collection back ! I reported a valuable doll as broken on return and received no response. The doll was bubble wrapped but her broken hand and leg were in a different box, proving that she was broken in their care. Since then they have ignored my requests for compensation. I'm afraid that after my experience I wouldn't use them again.

I recently sent my collection of…Scandinavian glass and MCM ceramics.

I recently sent my collection of Scandinavian glass and other MCM items half way across the country for auction because I had heard Fieldings 'knew their stuff' and treated both vendors and buyers respectfully. The advice I was given wasn't wrong. Good people and a vibrant, busy saleroom ensured satisfaction. Not generally one to leave reviews but credit where it is due.

What an excellent firm Fieldings are

What an excellent firm Fieldings are. I have bought bits of jewellry and other things in their on line auctions for some years now. Although this is only occasionally and I live a long way from their base the quality of service is always exceptional and personal which is great in this day and age. Everyone from the office crew to the directors are helpful and responsive which is great. Dealing with this company is a pleasure.

Absolute waist of time when it comes to…

Absolute waist of time when it comes to 1980s Japanese toys .as a prospective seller they Was very acomandating at the beginning so I trusted them as you would need to with such a rare collection. But from then on it went very wrong ! They give me the wrong day of the auction and ignored my emails regarding my listing s and even damaged some of the original packaging. Plus they left what didn't sell on their receiption floor loose ! Basically I lost big time and I have proof as I took pictures before and after . They refused to except any liability and was rude to me .

Contacted twice, sent photos of items to be submitted, first email ignored completely. Second one had reply from admin who said email had been forwarded, then complete silence. Guess they can afford to do this, shame they don't reply as who knows what I may have to sell.....
