Just a heads up everyone

Just a heads up everyone. Fillyboo has gone into liquidation. I am owed around $1000AU$ due to the non fulfillment of an order. I doubt I will see any of it, but I will try! Very disappointed as I was fobbed off so many times and trusted that the credit I had was something I could use once I saw something different that I liked..😭

They stole my money and never delivered my orders, I spent thousands on five dresses. The company shut down their website, stopped responding to emails and socials, and completely disappeared. Cate kept emailing me with excuses and delays before vanishing. Absolutely shameful.

Fillyboo is a scam

Fillyboo is a scam. Fraudulent company. I thought it was just me but they have significant issues with customer order fulfillment, communication, and refunds. They owe me thousands. They don’t respond and they never honored the purchase. Do not order their products.

I ordered from them in June for a pre…

I ordered from them in June for a pre order dress (a kiss from a rose) in lavender and didn’t recieve an order number and now I tried reaching out to them a couple of times but they’re not answering…. Very bad experiences I don’t even know how to ask for refund because they’re not answering by email and their website is down. I might report it to the authorities at this point. They took 600€ from me!!

Avoid Fillyboo UK, avoid, avoid, avoid.

I placed an order for a dress with Fillyboo UK on August 12th. The payment was taken immediately, but I didn’t receive any updates about my order. On August 19th, I reached out to them, and only then did I receive a tracking number along with an email explaining that they were delayed due to a recent sale.
I responded politely, thanked them for the update, and said I looked forward to receiving my dress. The dress eventually arrived on August 22nd, but to my surprise, it was way too small and looked different (around the cleavage) from what was advertised on their website.
That same day, I emailed them to explain the issue and requested a return label so I could send the dress back for a refund. Two days later, they replied saying that “returns information will be sent to you from our exchanges email address.” Days passed with no follow-up, so I emailed again. Eventually, they replied saying they had skeleton staffing over the long weekend but that I’d receive the return information by the end of the week.

I didn’t hear back until August 31st, when they finally emailed saying I could either:

Return the order for store credit (with a “20% bonus”), or

Request a refund which included a 10% restocking fee.

They attached a return form not the return label I needed so I had to pay out of pocket to return the incorrect item. On top of that, they wanted to deduct 10% of my refund as a “restocking fee” for their own mistake.

Naturally, I was frustrated. I sent them proof showing the difference between what I ordered and what I received and asked them to justify the fee. They never responded.
I paid to ship the dress back, tracked it, and confirmed it was delivered, but Fillyboo went silent again and did not process my refund. Thankfully, I had paid via Klarna, so I filed a dispute. Even then, Fillyboo only responded at the very last possible moment of the dispute window (literally 2 days before), clearly they knew what they were doing.

After all that, I finally received my refund on October 7th more than a month after returning the item on September 1st.
This entire experience was stressful, drawn-out, and unprofessional. I will NEVER order from Fillyboo again, and my advice to others is simple: take your money elsewhere or you’ll learn the hard way.

Absolutely worst customer experience…

Absolutely worst customer experience and service by this totally fraudulent company - I placed an order June 29th, which was never shipped to me. After chasing multiple times order was finally cancelled as I was told it was delayed in production so I asked for a full refund which I was told was in process. I have emailed back and forth with them tens of times and we are now in late September - have still not received the refund and given some ridiculous excuses about the order refunds processing from Sydney. Why that should matter is a mystery to me. Appalling customer service and will not be ordering from them again.

Been chasing a refund for over a year — avoid at all costs

Update: as of 8/27/25, they have blocked me on Instagram and my emails are bouncing. They provided a screenshot one (1) day before the chargeback response cleared claiming they “couldn’t” issue a refund, but if they refreshed that page today they absolutely could issue the refund. They are calculated grifters.

I ordered a dress for my friends wedding in June 2024 and it came so late and was not at all what I was expecting. It felt cheaply made for a $500 dress and the colors were off. I decided to return it — big mistake.

I am writing this review in August 2025 and am STILL trying to receive a refund from Fillyboo. I have spoken with both Cate and Sammy on their team and they have both given me a total runaround on the refund. I was told the refund would come for the first time on July 8, 2024. It never showed up. I have never had a company tell me a refund was coming that wasn’t actually coming. I caught it while I was doing my TAXES the following year. So I reached out again. It had been so long that I needed to call UPS to obtain proof of delivery, which they have been sent multiple times, and then I was told my refund would come a second time on April 21, 2025. It also never came. I was told their system was “down.” I issued a chargeback that was settled in favor of Fillyboo (because of course they responded to that immediately!) and now I am being told they “can’t” issue my refund because of the chargeback. So I got my bank to give me a statement that the chargeback was withdrawn. Even with proof of delivery and a statement from my bank, Fillyboo refuses to issue my refund. I haven’t heard from them since June 30, 2025.

DO NOT ORDER FROM FILLYBOO. You can find something just as cute on For Love and Lemons, Farm Rio, or LoveShackFancy WITHOUT the headache. I have been dealing with this for over a year and they refuse to acknowledge it. For a $500 dress I not only expected better quality, I expected better customer service. They are a joke. Do not order.

Consistently amazing quality

I’ve been shopping from Fillyboo for about a decade now and I have never been disappointed. Their clothing is incredibly well made with beautiful fabrics and attention to detail that keeps me coming back every new drop. Over the years I have had really lovely experiences with their customer service team (who is refreshingly helpful and prompt), so when I rarely do have a shipping issue, it’s resolved in a timely fashion. I’ve had an especially great experience with Cate, who anticipated what I needed before I even had to ask and has gone above and beyond for me. I receive so many compliments on these pieces and I recommend Fillyboo highly to everyone who sees them. When they have their sales you are getting these pieces at a STEAL. I know there have been some shipping issues at times in the past but this company is genuinely on the ball and will work to work it out.

I’d give them zero stars if I could

I’d give them zero stars if I could. I placed an order Sept of 2024 and LITERALLY had to chase them down for any updates months after the order nothing. Finally I said cancel my order it’s been 6 months of “ we hand craft our”. They hand craft nothing it made in china. I FINALLY get someone to answer me in May ? I returned the items when they arrived THEN they say they can’t find the items when their company signed for it and I have the photo proof. I had to go through chase file fraud and get my money back…. Chase get the money. Companies like this should be out of business. How terrible for anyone. DO NOT order on line !!! a store might be fine I don’t know. I’ll never shop with them ever again

Complete SCAM

Complete SCAM. Cheap items that they charge a fortune for. Item took over a month to arrive because they obviously order it from a warehouse in China and market it as a high quality item. Do not shop here.

Never again

Do not, I repeat do not order from this company. They are scammers. I was told my order was on the way for 4 months.
Because I wanted the dress so much I waited but after this time I asked for a refund. The refund took so long to get to me after I emailed them over & over. Could not get money back via PayPal. Absolute waste of time. Cannot believe the are still selling the dress they were not able to provide to me. Worst ecommerce experience to date.

Fillyboo will take your money and run

I had placed an order for a dress back in September of 2024. Two weeks later they sent me a tracking number with a delivery company I had never heard of (Sendle). After a week of no tracking updates I reached out to customer service and we sent messages back and forth for 4 weeks because the package still never had any tracking updates. Customer Service only responded about once per week which is unacceptable when trying to resolve order issues. They kept saying to be patient and to let the warehouse get back to them, etc etc. At the end of November I told them point blank I wanted a refund because they were jerking me around with no actual update. Their warehouse is obviously run by incompetent people because customer service never told me what was actually going on. To me it was obvious they didn’t have the dress to send so their inventory must be way off because I did not order the last dress. Anyway, they responded to my refund request asking me to be patient as they investigate the issue. I ended up filing a chargeback with my credit card and it immediately got approved which tells me they’ve gotten a ton of chargeback claims. I responded to someone’s comment on one of their instagram posts (they were saying they had a similar order issue) and I replied to them saying they’ll need to do a chargeback because Fillyboo ignores requests for refunds. Fillyboo deleted all comments and blocked me like any upstanding, trustworthy business does (insert eyeroll). Due to the sheer amount of chargebacks they’ve gotten they have since raised their prices by over 40%. The dress I had ordered retailed for $600 and now retails for $995. And every other item has been marked up accordingly as well. So if you’re buying a product that’s on sale for 40% off just know that you’re actually paying the retail price it was 6 months ago.

Silence can be misleading

I have bought two dresses of the same design just different sizes back in June 2024. They were both big for me so I contacted fillyboo to order a smaller size and to return the other two dresses. The service was really good as I received my new dress in record time.
When I went to post the two dresses to return back to Fillyboo on 25th June, I never even got a response back soI emailed them in October to chase it up. I persisted in chasing them and eventually they "found" it.
I was then offered a store credit of$1501.20 whoch included a 20% bonus or refund of $1251. In their words "We encourage you to consider the store credit which
> includes a 20% bonus credit, as we release new styles all the time and
> store credits have no expiry."
So I chose the store credit hoping to use it for future purchases.
No they had a sale on in December 2025 but my store credit code didn't work. I email them on 5th Dec with no response so I followed up with another email. On 10th Dec I got reply "So sorry about the delayed response. Can you please let me know what you are looking
to order and I can make an adjustment manually foryou?"
At that point I didn't need the dress anymore as it would be too late to arrive for my occasion.

They currently have a flashsale of 40%off and again I couldn't use my code so I emailed them. This time I got a reply saying "I hope you're well. Due to the exceptional nature of this 40% off flash sale, store credits are not valid during the event. They will remain available for use on full-priced items or future launches."
At this point, I felt like I was misled into taking the store credit. I was not made aware or given any information on how the store credit was to be used. They have failed to disclose information that would have influenced my decision when choosing a refund or store credit. There was also no information on their website about how the store credit are to be used. I have went through their website and taken screenshot of their policies to make sure.
I have emailed them my reply on three separate occasions to both of their emails with no reply.
Its unfair, that is my money and they can take back their bonus 20% and give my money back. $1200 is not chump change! I will be taking this further due to their silence. I will also post this on other website to warn people. I should've read all the bad reviews on trust pilot.

Hello Janny, As has been explained, we are not able to provide a 20% bonus store credit when you return multiple sizes and allow that bonus credit to be used in conjunction with a significant sale discount. Terrible experience. Avoid at all costs

Like many people who have left reviews, I would leave 0 stars if I could. Before I put my order in I saw the bad reviews but decided to give Fillyboo the benefit of the doubt, I wish I hadn't

I ordered a dress on pre order back in November 2024 for delivery on 30th January 2025. After 30th January and having heard nothing I was back and forth with Fillyboo for months as the dresses were STILL delayed.

In the end, they gave me the option of switching to a different style, the first time I said no then but then they asked a 2nd time and at this point my money has been taken months previous and nothing to show for it so I felt like I was pushed into choosing something else. Something is better than nothing. After selecting an alternate style it was shipped very fast and arrived early April. Unfortunately the sizing was massive so I organised a return through fillyboo (which btw I had to chase them more than once).

My return was delivered to Fillyboo 6 weeks ago now and i have not received my money back yet after what feels like constant chasing. As lovely as the customer service team are in their replies it's always excuse after excuse as to why something isn't happening.

I had an email from the returns department last week saying if I sent my bank details they would refund 'immediately', nearly a week later, no refund still and now I'm being told my refund is on a list due to a 'wave of cancellations due to a very late production order'. No idea when (or if ill get my refund).

I'm £123 out of pocket (£126.50 if you count the return shipping fee i had to pay).

DO NOT buy from this company because you won't get your money back. I tried to file a case with PayPal but cause the case was opened 30 days after the delivery date, I haven't got a leg to stand on. I have been too patient with this company to the point I can't even recover the money back through PayPal.

Back and forth for 6 months is crazy. Only good thing I can say is the customer service emails which come through seem friendly enough.

UPDATE: after pushing and pushing, I have finally received a full refund from Fillyboo

I would give 0 stars if I could!

I would give 0 stars if I could!! I ordered a set that was beautiful but unfortunately too big so I returned it. The set was delivered 2 and a half months ago and I STILL haven’t received my refund which is almost $600! I have been back and fourth with emails and they keep saying “please allow 2 weeks for it to process” and then “ there’s a backlog but it should be in there by the end of the week” it never happens!! I have had to file a case with PayPal to try and get my money back and notify fair trade. It’s absolutely unacceptable. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would.
My experience with Fillyboo has been incredibly disappointing and stressful. I ordered two dresses in November 2024. I received only one — and not until March 2025, despite being told both would arrive by February. The second dress has still not arrived.

I’ve contacted their customer service multiple times to request a refund, but I’ve received no resolution. I feel completely ignored and misled. At this point, it feels like they are taking people’s money without delivering what was promised.

This has been one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve ever had — poor communication, missed deadlines, and no accountability. I would strongly advise others to be cautious before purchasing from this company.

Was told I could return my order for a…

Was told I could return my order for a store credit. went to the post office, paid for return shipping and sent the parcel back. After 6 weeks of hearing nothing, I checked the tracking number on my Aus Post receipt, which showed the parcel had been delivered well within the designated time frame. I waited, and still nothing. I sent this return in December 2024. It is now April 2025, and I have sent another follow up email. Still nothing. Wasted over $200. Very disappointed.

I have ordered from Fillyboo a couple of times and although the second time did have some shipping issues and a bit of a wait I found that Fillyboo were so responsive and kind and I now fully understand that the issues were definitely not their fault. I felt really respected as a customer and well looked after as Fillyboo customer service exceeded my expectations, they went above and beyond to see that I had the dress I needed for a special trip with my husband. The dresses I have received have been absolutely beautiful and of the highest quality and would say to anyone to give them a chance and understand the hurdles sometimes experienced in running a small family business. I will definitely be buying from Fillyboo again.
