Terrible
Terrible. I purchased a perpetual license for a previous version of the program a few years ago. After upgrading to two versions, the license was canceled. There's no way to complain to any competent authority because the company isn't registered in my country. NEVER PURCHASE THIS VERSION. When I renewed the annual license I've been using since losing the perpetual license a few years ago, the program updated and is forcing users of previous versions to migrate to the latest version. Since I only renewed for an annual period 4 months ago, it doesn't make sense to pay again just because they decided not to support the previous version anymore (I contracted for 1 year!). This is a treacherous Chinese company; I do not recommend them.

Filmora is a scam
Filmora is a scam. I downloaded the dng file and played around with the Interface, I created an hour long video for my DJ mix and then exported the file, this took me to a subscription page where it states the fee would be £6.99 a month, I selected that version to then be charged £46.99. When I went to export the video it took me back to the subscription page and tried to charge me again and with the failed export. After many many messages and filing the refund request I was told I could not get a refund and that I had to pay more for the effects features. Wondershare is a complete scam, believe other people’s messages on here and DO NOT PURCHASE their products. They are misleading and the service you pay for does not work and they scam your money. I’m currently in the process with my bank on getting my money back.

Filmora refund problem
I recently purchased Filmora, and from the very beginning, the software has not been working properly. It frequently freezes, crashes, and even restarts unexpectedly, making it completely unusable for its intended purpose.
In addition to the technical issues, I have attempted to contact your support team multiple times, but I have only received automated AI-generated responses that do not address my problem. I have not received any real assistance or solution.
As a customer based in the European Union, I am entitled to exercise my right of withdrawal (cooling-off period), especially given that the product is defective and not functioning as advertised... I NEED A REFUND

On March 17/26, I purchased the pro pack for 90 dollars. Installed and began using it on my new macbook pro .. It crashed twice. When i started using the features, many would ask me to use a different set of features that of course costs more money. When I complained, they sent me instructions to send them screen shots and other instructions. They refuse to refund my money even though they have a 30 money back guarantee. They are totally dishonest and I hope the worst for this company. It's a discredit to China!

I can't believe how stupid I am to have gotten trapped in this... their software is basically junk, with so many malfunctions and so many unexpected issues that make the software unusable, like preview quality turns junk, and you basically are unable to use the whole software because you can't tell it is the intended effect you need! and contact customer service, just like all other reviews said, they use all excuses to avoid a refund! There SHOULD be a class lawsuit against this SCAM company!!!!!!!!

The student verification for Wondershare Filmora did not work and the page failed to load, which forced me to purchase the full license instead. Despite reporting the issue immediately and providing a screenshot of the error, customer support refused to process a refund.

They are a scam
They are a scam. You can never get refund from these guys even after you provide enough screen shots and example via emails on their tool malfunction . Their watermark tool did not work the way it is supposed to do and as per their policy they have to provide refund , but instead of doing it they waste your time in back and forth emails and finally to avoid giving refund the explanation they provided was the tool had limitations which was absurd. It was a simple watermark remover.
They do not have any confidence in their own products
Stay away from them . They are spammers. I did not even use the product for a week

If I could pick - stars I would! This app is a scam and lies about the free trial subscription! I cancelled it within 3 minutes of it being downloaded because it charged me $49.99 and I requested my money back. It denied my requested and I am still in the 7 day money back guarantee time frame??? Trying to get ahold of anyone is void! When I go the the app developer it’s all in another language. So how am I supposed to get my money back? Someone please help me?!

I’ve relied on this software for many…
I’ve relied on this software for many years, starting with projects for my graduate portfolio and continuing with content for my current channels. It has remained a useful part of my workflow over time. While it did experience crashes on an older laptop, performance has been much more stable on my desktop. Given that I often work with very large video files, those issues were understandable and not a major concern.

Misleading information on the web. It says cross platform but it's not for Mac and android. So I bought it also through mobile as well which should work. But they don't want to refund me the first subscription. That's frankly sad. How can they think they keep customers acting like that since day 1?

Their website advertises a “Free 7-Day Trial,” but I was charged the full amount immediately upon signing up, without any notice that payment would be taken upfront. I have never seen any company offering 7 day free trial and charging customers upfront like this. Paypal doesn’t help in this case either, so very careful of this SCUM of a company robbing you of your hard earned money.

Violates EU Consumer Rights – Beware!
I had an annual Filmora subscription automatically renewed. I requested a refund within 14 days, citing my EU statutory right of withdrawal (Directive 2011/83/EU). Wondershare refused, claiming “personal reasons” and pointing to their own refund policy. This ignores EU law, which protects consumers in the Netherlands and across the EU.
They are denying legal rights to force customers to pay for unwanted subscriptions. I cannot recommend this company to EU consumers — be aware, your statutory rights may be ignored.

Good partner of mine
Been using Filmora (Lifetime Plan) for more than 6 years now. It helped me complete my MA grad portfolio in 2019, and is still helping me create videos for my channels today. It used to crash quite frequently on my old laptop, but much stabler on my desktop now. Can't complain much about the crashes because that's what happens when my video files are huge.
Filmora has been a good partner of mine, and will continue to be.
