Deceptive marketing. Cash Grab on Kickstarter.
Final practices deceptive marketing, “Verified Buyers” leaving reviews on their website are not buyers, they are part of the review/trial team and given the product for free before it is released in. The FinalWipe was backed by over 4,000 people on KickStarter, there were numerous delays due to Covid, which people were fine with however the product Backers eventually received was a far cry from what was promised. Final updates on changes to the case and cleaning solution allowing people to back out. They did not however, update Backers on changes to the cloth that was supposed to be Anti-Microbial Silver Infused Bamboo. Instead they used organic cotton, which not only is not the same quality as bamboo, it is NOT Anti-Microbial and less sustainable than bamboo. Simply put, backers were promised one high quality product and got a cheap knock off while Final pocketed the difference. Also to add insult to injury they will not respond to comments from Backers questioning what happened and deflect blame onto backers. They are also now selling the product for the exact same price on their website that backers paid.
