Fantastic platform to learn from and get real exposure to the industry. Would recommend for beginners right the way through to people who think they already know it all as there is something there for everyone. The only thing I would say is that it was a little confusing to decide what to look at first, but aside from that I can’t fault it.

Financial education for everyone from beginners to experts
I am a PhD. at Imperial College London. I got an email from Imperial Investing Society to try out Financial Unlocked. I have to say I have started loving Financial Unlocked. It is designed to explain the most complex topics in a way so that everyone can understand. You do not need any background in finance.

I had some basic knowledge about stock markets but I did not know anything about the interaction of banking/economy/financial markets (I just learnt that banks create money out of air 🤨🤨).

Unfortunately, we do not get the financial education at school. I cannot understand that. Financial education is as important as Maths/ Science/History etc. Therefore, I would recommend Financial Unlocked to everyone from beginners to expert even to those who might think they dont need financial education. Let me tell you. You need it.

I hope, they introduce a subscription based access so that everyone is able to get the essential education.

The website is easy to use and navigate and highly interactive. I would easily recommend this for fellow university students.

As an university student willing to work in Asset Management, Finance Unlocked has helped me learn advanced knowledge in an easy-to-follow way. Having industry experts explaining key concepts such as Libor, Commercial Papers, Convertible bonds, liquidity or LBOs is invaluable.

Although I am an aspiring commercial lawyer, I found Finance Unlocked very insightful in terms of demystifying the jargon. The combination of handful summaries and insights from key practitioners is the platform's unique aspect. I'd definitely recommend it!
