DO NOT WASTE YOUR HOPES ON FINDIGS!!!!

Fingdis just cost me an apartment I really like because I couldn't download a selfie. It took over 6 hours to get to the selfie page and couldn't go any further. Keep trying to get help through Live Chat, no one could assist me. It was a nightmare. I started my app at 4:20pm and it is now 1:08am and I can not got any further and will be denied, as stated by the LIVE chat rep'. So, I would NOT recommend anyone who values their business use Findigs. Their process is long and stressful.

I recently had an experience with…

I recently had an experience with Estrella Ramon at Findigs, and unfortunately, it was far from positive. Estrella was unhelpful and unkind throughout our interactions. Instead of assisting us with our needs, she made the process more complicated and frustrating. Her lack of support and unprofessional behavior significantly hindered our progress, leaving us very dissatisfied with the service we received. I would not recommend working with Estrella Ramon based on this experience.

They just want your App Fee

I applied for a house that was well below my means of income. They put me through a ton of hoops and had me send in multiple documents. Just deny me less than 24 hours later. I feel like they just wanted my application fee. There is no way that I could have been denied of this property. My credit score is above what they require. I also have NO bankruptcies, evictions , or repossessions on my credit. SCAM

Findigs works with Questionable Clients

Findigs works with some unscrupulous property managers who setup costly road blocks even after an application is approved. Below I share an experience with one of their clients. The data wipeout I mentioned happened on Findigs. At some point, Findigs became quite responsive but could do nothing about their partner.

JMAX Salem, VA company has nine and soon to be 10, one-star ratings on Yelp. They deserve a zero rating for service, responsiveness, and ethical behavior. I will be evaluating them soon across social media platforms and filing a small claims suit against them for an apartment I attended to rent in Roanoke, Va for myself and a relative. I was approved and the relative was not because the virtual application process was so cumbersome that it was impossible to complete the process. I have lost $1800, on an apartment that I never occupied. They are attempting to keep a month’s rent. Although the company has a Salem. VA address it is totally virtual and applicants have to use Findigs, Propertyware, and RHINO rental insurance regardless of income and credit rating. After we uploaded my relative’s drivers license, bank statements, and employment information, it was wiped out and we were told that we could not mail or hand deliver documents. Their business practices are dishonest and misleading. I have dealt with Searina, Anna, and Steve. Steve is the owner. I blame myself for not having done due diligence in advance of the payment of fees.

Unresponsive…

Saw a home that could not have been more perfect. Contacted the property through many different means, even directly emailed the agent in charge of the property. I got one response asking about who would be living there, available times to tour etc… I responded within the hour and then received no other updates. I thought maybe they don’t contact on weekends or she was out of the office. I waited untill tuesday to send a follow-up. Nothing. Then, on wednesday, I was informed the property was not longer available. Why is it so hard to communicate to people who are interested in your listings? Especially when they flaunt their mission online as being accessible. It’s just rude.

Seamless application navigation with limited features

Likes: Seamless navigation throughout the application process across four different categories.

Areas of Improvement:
1. The application only takes US Phone Numbers for applicants. There are cases where people who apply has family members who are out of US as well. It should be considerate of these cases as well.
2. Also the application charges 25 dollars for each applicant whereas it should be considerate of these charges as well. If possible, it should be from a rental unit point of view rather than the number of applicant's point of view.
3. The mandatory pet screening even when you own a pet seems unnecessary. The pet screening page also pushes the applicant for rental insurance which is not mandatory and first time applicants might get confused.
4. No where in the application does it mention about parking, sewage, and associated rental charges. These sections, if possible, should be included in the rental application as optional section so that it is complete from rental unit point of view.

Waste of money, horrible website, and total rip-off!

The entire process is a rip-off. Having impeccable credentials as a tenant, earning 3x the rent, or having a Section 8 Voucher is not sufficient if you and all of your co-applicants do not have a credit score of at least 660. It would be pointless to pay for each applicant's fee under these circumstances. Additionally, be prepared to disclose all your banking details as the application procedure is both time-consuming and challenging. If you have a question, getting a direct answer is as challenging as extracting teeth.

I think this company is a scam!!

I think this company is a scam!!! I put in an application for two different properties paying 75.00 for one application and 60.00 for the other both applied within days of each other. well I called to follow up on my applications and the customer service rep. told me they did not see that I completed my applications so just hit "Submit". went back in and it said my application was complete. MMMM???? that's strange!!! anyway I called back and they said oh ok I see it is complete I will send this over to owner. 20 minutes later I received two texts stating that my applications for both properties was declined due to they already have an application approved. Well to me you knew you already had approved application you just took my money for both properties and declined me all in 20 minutes!!!!

This company has to be a scam

This company has to be a scam! Maybe great for owners, but not for renters.
We applied for a newly listed condo and paid $90 when filling out the required forms.
Half an hour later, Findings.com sent an email saying your application was declined as the owners chose someone else!

Total Rip Off!

My girlfriend and I together make over $100,000 per year. We each paid $59 each to get into a rental home that was only $1390 per month. These people turned us down over some BS credit score. We both pay our bills ON TIME. Definite scam.

Total SCAM

Total SCAM. My son and four friends that are in college try to rent a house from them. They each had to do a $65 application fee. Then were told each of the 5 kids parents had to do a $65 application fee (10 applications, $650 total which I find to be insane). Then house goes off the market. Two days later house is back on the market and told that day they didn’t get the house and won’t be able to get the application money back. Out of the 5 family’s, I would say we make the least at $250k a year with his buddies dad being a professional tennis player and when you google his net worth it says he worth $25 million. We found out the home owner didn't want to rent to college kids. So why take our money then.
