Exceptional Experience

From meeting Tom for our viewing from the Diss Branch of Fine & Country who was exceptionally helpful and professional to liasing with Julie Vassar from the Norwich Branch throughout our buying process we could not fault anything.

Impressive performance!

We were very impressed with the way Ben Perkins secured our sale, obtaining an excellent price in spite of the unfavourable market conditions.
We found him extremely conciencious, resourceful and a very pleasant personality. He truly went the extra mile to help us.
Always answered our messages promptly, even after business hours.

Great experience at Islington

Mark & Davor in Islington stuck with us over a long period as we sold 2 difficult properties over Covid & subsequent financial crashes, etc. They were honest, pragmatic and always available. Selling 2 was a doubly stressful experience, but I had 100% trust that the guys would get us there in the end - and they did. Thanks to you both! Simon

Chepstow office are a bit like the old…

Chepstow office are a bit like the old double glazing salesmen, you just cannot get rid of them. Every few weeks we get a letter telling us that our current agents are no good and use F&C. However when you email, they ignore it, They never answer the landline 01594 715444 and Richards mobile 07970 237304 is the same and usually goes to answerphone. And all I want to do is get off the mailing list, however what if I wanted to buy the house you are thinking of listing with them?? I would have given up a long time ago.

Plus they use 'The Homeowner' to get round the Mailing Preference Register, that I am registered on but letters addressed such are unregulated.

If it was me I would look elsewhere for an agent, Purple Bricks for example - £1000 and listed for 5 years if you are not in a hurry to sell (like us Richard so take us off the list pleeeeeeeeeeease)

Fab service from Rebecca and the team at the Beccles office, with communication flow very easy at all times, including process updates. Would recommend to anyone with a period property for sale in the Waveney Valley catchment.

Five star service!!

We have taken our property management off Foxtons who did an awful job on our property in Old Street and moved over to Fine & Country. Shauneen has been instrumental in making sure our tenants are well looked after, she has also provided us with an impeccable service as landlords making sure our property was inspected and issues resolved immediately. The service has been extremely professional and efficient on a continuous basis! So glad we made the move! Thank you so much Shauneen!

A chance phone call

Our experience with the Beccles office was largely a very positive one.We had been looking for a house in this area for sometime,we had finished a day of viewings and my wife happened to see a house new to the market.She rang and left a message after office hours on the Saturday .Her call was quickly returned and a viewing arranged for that evening.We put an offer in there and then but the process went to best and final offers.Our offer was accepted and a second viewing arranged.
Through out the process we were kept well informed and our questions answered in a full and prompt manner.There was a small wobble close to completion but this was down to the vendor not the agent.

Excellent service from Fine & Country, Brighton & Hove

The service we received from Fine & Country was truly exceptional. Right from our first encounter with Dominique until the day we completed the sale, we were consistently impressed. What set this experience apart was the fact that we never had to chase anyone or correct any errors along the way.

Having a specific price in mind that we wanted to achieve, Dominique played a pivotal role in helping us not only meet but exceed our expectations. Her meticulous attention to detail, deep understanding of the market, and exceptional communication skills all contributed to this success.

Unhappy with service

Unhappy with service. I looked at a previous review which reminds me of my experience. I had a poor experience with this company before and more fool me for using them again. My experience has been bad. I would not recommend this company for lettings

What such a helpful company dealing…

What such a helpful company dealing mostly with Tracy from the Diss branch of Fine and Country.
Nothing seemed to much trouble buying our new home in Fressingfield, Suffolk.
Very obliging when arranging viewing and follow ups. Helped with chasing a broadband supplier.

The director of the Diss branch

The director of the Diss branch, Chris and his sales assistant Tanya along with Sue in the office provided us with a excellent service throughout their handling of the sale of our property.
They were, at all times, professional, courteous, knowledgeable and always available to assist us with any concerns we may have had through the sale process.
I can highly recommend this great team to look after the sale of you home.

Great Service in Northamptonshire

My wife and I have recently been interested in properties in Northamptonshire represented by Marie Fritz, as selling agent. We have been very impressed by Marie's knowledge of the houses in question, and of the local towns and region, and she has, in our view, represented the houses enthusiastically and fairly. My wife and I both saw Marie as active and engaged throughout - we have seen plenty of Sales Agents, in the past, who are far too passive in the process. The fact that we have not, in the end, purchased one of these properties was certainly not down to Marie and the way she handled the process - on the contrary, we felt her handling of the agency allowed us time to properly consider whether any of these houses were really right for us and, in the end, our decision not to pursue a purchase to completion was merely down to specific issues which were not possible to mitigate.

We are currently in the process of selling our own property in Bedfordshire. The best recommendation or reference we can provide is for us to say that we would be very happy to enlist the services of Marie if ever we were in the market to sell a house in an area she was covering from an Estate Agency perspective.

Chsiwick branch to be avoided

We recently purchased a home through the Fine & Country (Chiswick) branch and were disappointed with the quality of the agency throughout the process. As some examples:

Bidding process: After initially agreeing a price on the property, it became apparent that the agent was assuming that we would use his start-up side business (Daniel Madden and Partners) to sell our existing home. This was a surprise new 'condition' that was added at the last minute without any discussion or agreement by us and to our surprise led to the bid falling through (due to “not having visibility of the full process if they were not selling our home” or in my sceptical opinion “due to not getting the double commission of a sale and purchase”). As we really liked the home (if not the agent) we eventually went back in with a new bid 3 months later on the same basis (i.e. we decide who sells our house, not them) which they agreed to, as they had not found any other buyer in that time.

Conveyancing process: The process went smoothly and we went from bid accepted to completion within 3 months. However, you would not have known this judging by the excessive level of chasing by F&C who were contacting our conveyancers, ourselves and the agent selling our house almost every day for updates and tried to constantly bring forward the exchange date despite it having being agreed early on in the process. This led to us receiving complaints from our conveyancer and our estate agent (both of which were excellent throughout the process) at the level of pestering they were receiving. I’m not sure if this was driven by inexperience of F&C or their nervousness at the current fragility of the market, but either way it came across as quite unprofessional and unhelpful.

Completion: On the day of completion, the seller had left behind a lot of furniture and bulky items that had not been agreed in the sale process, which led to time and cost to us of removing them before we could move in. We contacted the agency a few times on this, but got no useful assistance at all which was at least true to form on their performance throughout the process.

I would recommend avoiding dealing with them if possible.

Exceptional customer care

The Diss office have acted for the vendors of the beautiful thatched cottage that we exchanged on yesterday. Sue has been a lifeline, answering every question and liaising with the vendors to sort out surveys, electrical checks and general questions. Once things were into the legal phase the ball was passed to Julie (after sales at Norwich) who is Lioness class!! The lengths that she went to in order to exchange on the date agreed was amazing, liaising with solicitors and agents from the bottom of the chain to the top. Everyone we spoke to at Fine & Country were friendly, caring and professional. Highly recommended!
