I appreciate the fair prices and the quick turnaround. I received my order in a very timely fashion. Product was in excellent condition and I enjoyed the experience!

Disappointing customer service for a premium wine retailer.

An expensive older bottle purchased for Christmas Eve had a cork that completely crumbled, requiring extensive filtering. While I understand cork issues can happen, the response from FineLiquors was dismissive and condescending rather than professional.

Instead of a courteous explanation of policy, I was criticized for my corkscrew and told I should avoid older wines in the future. That’s not how you treat customers buying high-end bottles.

Wine aside, the customer experience was poor.

So far, I have only a single data point on Fineliquors.com -- but I have found their prices to be very competitive, their information on discounted bottles (resulting from external damage or imperfections) is accurate, and their shipping costs are very reasonable. My order arrived perfectly packaged, and it arrived FAST -- it was in my hands four days after I placed the order, during a high-volume shipping time of year. They shipped via FedEx with weekend delivery. The web site is easy to navigate, and their wine inventory is pretty impressive. Fineliquors is now on my go-to list whenever I am shopping for fine wine.
