There’s a bit of a story behind this one! The coffee is fantastic—honestly, it’s my go-to brew now.

However, the journey was a bit of a rollercoaster. I ordered on Sunday and heard... well, absolutely nothing, aside from the standard confirmation email. By Wednesday, the parcel had actually arrived, but since I’d had no heads-up, I was completely in the dark.

At 9:01 on Thursday morning, I messaged them on WhatsApp to solve the mystery. The person on the other end confirmed it had been sent but gave me zero details—no tracking number, no courier, nothing.
To top it off, they told me: 'I'm sorry, it's a little too early in the day for this kind of interaction.'
I had a proper laugh at that! I spent the next hour wondering if the company actually existed or if I’d just been scammed.
Lo and behold, an hour later the tracking info appeared and I found my coffee safe and sound with the neighbour.
A bit chaotic, but the coffee is worth the drama!

Ordered coffee for a gift on 09th Dec. Dispatched 12th Dec. - it still hasn't turned up as of 20th after being supposedly sent second class 8 days ago. I received an email saying they're aware of 2nd class royal mail delays (and yet continue to send orders second class and not recorded).

At this point I'm doubting they've even sent it as all my other Christmas orders have arrived.

I am giving the company two stars because (a) the first time I ordered coffee from them, I received it in good time, and (b) because it really was excellent coffee. But, the second time I ordered some coffee, I received no dispatch information, and the company has not responded to any of my emails or my phone call. Pay and hope with this outfit. Fortunately, I had used PayPal, and my refund is on its way.

UPDATE: Well, it all got a bit complicated. Just an hour or two after PayPal approved my refund, the product arrived with the daily post. I immediately contacted PayPal, and let them know what happened, attempting to reverse the refund. The PayPal representative essentially told me to view it as a gift from PayPal, given my many years with them. I then emailed the vendor, telling them this. They were not pleased, because I gather they hadn't received any payment from anybody for the coffee, which is fair enough. Lots of back-and-forth between the vendor and PayPal, apparently, with the upshot that they successfully appealed PayPal's ruling against them, albeit I'm told they had to pay a small fee for the appeal process. I agreed to update my review, and I am adding another star back in, to three stars, and amending the title from "no communication" to "poor communication." If continued transactions work out alright in the coming months, I'll revisit this and add another star, because I love the coffee that they're sending me--it is exactly what I expect from a Tanzanian coffee, and I am very pleased with the product, to date.

I ordered a tea. Emailed to say it is out of stock and to wait. I asked for a refund and heard nothing. Should have checked the reviews.

Terrible company. My order for coffee never arrived. Neither the phone number or email on the website works. The only response I got was when I started a claim on PayPal, and received a reply from the seller admitting my order had never been posted and I'd get a refund. The refund never arrived. Avoid at all costs.

Taken order and money 8th Oct. Acknowledged order, but no delivery. Tried 3 different phone numbers no response. Left messages on answer phone no response. Emailed numerous times, no response. Contact us page doesn't work. Raised dispute with PayPal. I would not recommend!

Update.... order finally arrived 19th Oct. Communication very poor, but I got my coffee in the end.

Take your custom to a 'real' vendor.

My order took just less than a week to arrive. I choose a few small bags to taste. I was surprised that the roasting date wasn't on the packaging. I have only tried one variety so far but am pleased with my purchase. I'll most likely try a few different varieties to find one or two favourites.

Not sure this is a real company. Ordered some coffee, nothing arrived. unable to contact them. No response anyway.
