Superb Customer Service
I was not very happy when my boiler had a major leak and we had to shut the water supply off feeding it. My partner is severely disabled and the lack of heating and water was a major problem. Our boiler engineer located the problem which was a plastic fitting in the boiler on the cold supply that had broke, this in turn sprayed water all over, in turn damaging the diverter valve. The engineer diagnosed the problem and tried to order a new diverter valve, however there was none in stock anywhere.. As a standby he managed to get our hot water working but not the heating..
After a couple of weeks of struggling with no heating and the weather bitterly cold I rung Firebird myself in desperation and was put through to Mathew. I explained my problem and that I was in a desperate situation and if the problem could not be sorted promptly we would have to move into a hotel.
Mathew explained why no valves were available but after a couple of hours of leaving it with him he had sourced one from an engineer and it was posted out to me the same day.. This chappie is an absolute star and a credit to Firebird, and I think he should be well rewarded for his customer care skills..
Please accept my apologies in not providing a review earlier but other difficulties have had to be dealt with.

Lasted 4 and a half problematic years before dying (Hurrah)
If you are thinking of buying a Firebird central heating boiler, for the love of dog.*don't*.From the day it was installed it went wrong, needing several parts replacing. Every year since installing, it broke down needing costly repairs. Now, 4 1/2 years after it was installed, to my great joy, it has broken completely after nearly killing me with fumes and eventually pumping thick black smoke.
I can at last replace this bit of crap without worrying that I was wasting money. I couldn't even sell it on as I couldn't inflict it on anyone else. Still, the scrap man will be happy to have it. That's the best place for a Firebird.
Then when they get a bad review they sound surprised and promise to get back to the reviewer but never do. Don't trust the company or their rubbish boilers.

A very challenging situation with the installer unwilling to support their installation. Firebird stepped up and resolved the issue fully. Couldn’t recommend more highly as this is truly exceptional customer service

Great customer service
I recently had an issue with my Firebird boiler which was under warranty. Customer Service dept were courteous, found a reliable local heating engineer to check the boiler, source the issue and order a replacement part and subsequently install it. Job done with no hassle. If only other companies were like this. Thank you Firebird.

Excellent customer service
After being told that he couldn't get a seal for my boiler my boiler engineer left me with a leaking boiler and no filter on the oil line having removed it. (He hadn't any filters with him.)
I waited 10 days and two telephone calls without success. I bought a filter and fitted it myself. I had to empty the drip tray every day to stop the flooding.
I am 77 and not so sprightly as I used to be and it has been a pain. I contacted customer services at Firebird and the response was terrific.
DAC services who installed the boiler and I have used satisfactorily for more than 10 years really let me down.
Not so Mathew Cook customer service at Firebird, well done.

I first bought a Firebird boiler for my house about 3 years ago because they can run on diesel aswell as kerosene it's the only new type burner I could find to do that.
It has been great up to now.
So I have recently bought another and have shipped it to France for my property there.

I have a great respect for customer service.
The support I received when I asked Firebird for details about the boilers was brilliant, their representative Lee called me and explained each boiler and helped me decide on my purchase which was an external boiler.
The installer I employed needed to ask a question and Kenny from the office answered all his questions.
My boiler has been in since last year and has kept me comfortable all through this winter.

I attended a course at Firebird last year and have been fitting the Hitachi Firebird ever since with the quick fit cylinder
My customers have been really impressed with the look of the unit and the lack of noise.
I am getting no complaints regarding costs and no problems once set up.
I will definitely keep installing them.

My Firebird boiler and Solar panels…
My Firebird boiler and Solar panels were fitted in June last year.
The savings have been good so far the panels are still producing heat even through this terrible weather and the boiler is working well outside in the garden.
I am very happy with my purchase and with Paul the installer.

Hitachi Heat Pump Failure
Firebird have refused to honour the Hitachi heat pump parts warranty. They are claiming the “was not registered“ get out clause although our plumber bought it directly from Firebird. The central internal compressor has broken rendering it unserviceable so they won’t replace it. That’s weeks without heating and now it will be months of arguing. Avoid them.
Simply the Best
I had a boiler failure this week that left me without heating or hot water. On ringing Matthew at Firebird I was met with the most pleasant and resourceful person who could not have done more to help resolve the problem. We were sent a Firebird engineer (Brian) who was perhaps the most competent and knowledgeable engineer I have come across. He worked late into the evening having come from a previous job. I know that Firebird get a lot of bad reviews but feel it is not them but maybe less resourceful"heating engineers" that are to blame. My advice is to deal with Matthew and you will be more than pleased.

The very best customer care
Firebird have been wonderful with us. We did have a few running problems with our new boiler, but Firebird came several times to service it. When they became unhappy with it, they went beyond the call of duty and have given us a new boiler. It is quietly purring away as I write. Not only did Kenny come and fit it, but he tidied up the layout around it to make it more practical. He could not have been kinder and more helpful, and was quick and efficient too. Many thanks to Gary for arranging this. Thank you Firebird for such a high level of customer care.

Firebird flies again
A success story - after local service company diagnosed a faulty burner motor in my daughter's Firebird Silver oil boiler they were quoting huge cost for parts to repair. After a call to Mathew Cook at Firebird UK everything got sorted - a new motor under warranty was arranged with Eilish in our local NI Firebird office, fitting was done by a fantastic local engineer recommended by Eilish the next day (a Saturday afternoon)
Apologies to Mathew for perhaps my rather brusque initial call, but thanks for listening and acting so fast. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending Firebird, the best 5 star customer service experience in a very long time.

First Anniversary of our new boiler
First Anniversary of our new boiler.
I am really impressed, from my records we have used 500 litres of oil less this year.
The radiators seem to get hotter quicker and the boiler now being outside has allowed us to have an extra cupboard.

Our experience with firebird is amazing. High efficient, 10 year warranty and amazing aftercare if anything goes wrong. We have a Envirogreen C35 kitchen in our house and it’s by far the best and most efficient oil boiler we’ve had! What’s better is I know we’ve a HVO fossil free future too with it.

What a fantastic company and service provided. I have had a big problem with my boiler and I git in touch with firebird to ask what I could do about it. I spoke with a man called Matthew who arranged the same day for a really lovely man to come and sort it out. The engineer that came , who was very lovely, but I don't know his name, knew exactly what to do, shared his vast knowledge and well if I could put 10 stars it wouldn't be enough to show how incredible Mt experience was with this company.
