This company sucks
I ride on one of these buses to school and back and its horrible, my bus driver is a jerk and the buses are way too small for all the kids on my route.

This was our fourth or fifth charter with First Student, and once again, the experience was excellent. We booked a bus for our church group to visit Six Flags Amusement Park. The reservation process was seamless and hassle-free.
Although the driver arrived a bit late due to traffic, they were very apologetic, and the staff at the pickup location was extremely helpful. The bus itself was clean, and the driver was kind, professional, and approachable. For the return trip, the bus arrived on time and everything went smoothly.
We will definitely continue to use First Student for our future charter bus needs.
Giving one star because 0 stars is not an option. For two weeks I have been emailing and talking with them about booking daily busses for 2 weeks, and 2 weekend airport runs. They sent me quotes and explained that after I paid a deposit they would confirm with the local yards then get back to me. I called back today after finally getting everything "correct" in the quotes, only to be told they could not go to the airport! I asked for a supervisor who to discuss my reservations and my dissatisfaction with only now being told they could not go to the airport, I should have been told that in the beginning. She constantly interupted me and would not allow me to explain my anger at not being told this from the beginning, she kept saying "I cannot promise something we cannot do". Then she went on to tell me that it was highly unlikely that they could accommodate my weekday bus requests because they were busy with school runs! Again.... why waste my time with quotes for service? She said because "anyone who calls requesting a price quote is given a $ amount, with no guarantee that they can provide service, they check after a deposit is given". I was so mad... of course I can understnd the need to reasonably check for availibility, but when you know upfront that the service cannot be provided, why waste the customers time! Way too much time and energy spent on this! I do not reccomend contacting this company for your bussing needs!
We booked a bus for my daughters wedding, to transport out of town guests to and from hotel, church and reception.
THE BUS NEVER SHOWED UP!
Customer service in the Cleveland office was rude, unkind and extremely unprofessional, the morning of the wedding.
Tried calling the following week, no one from the Cleveland office would take my call or call me back.
Worst company I have ever dealt with!
Upon dealing with the office in Naperville, Illinois, they were wonderful!
A company where people don't matter, mainly focused on gaining more charters and contracts. A company that contributes to heavy carbon foot emissions without making any efforts to diminish its impact. Management is not educated for the positions it occupies .Blackmail style leadership .The only positive is that parents of young kids can have them ride along
