Fiveable  Reviews

Fiveable helped me refresh my wavelets knowledge and also learn current wavelet's improvement. Thanks a lot. Going through books (several of them) would have cost me more and also would have taken longer.

Amazing resources behind a paywall...
Incredibly helpful whenever I'm going to review content and need something quick to read or review. I expecially appreciate it when things are set in a table or timeline for it helps me visually see each event.
However, the experience is hindered when ads block the view or when everything is oversimplified. Misses relevant details that provide context, incredibly annoying when ads pop up and don't allow you to ask. Since most of your target audience are teens, they often can't pay, and putting content meant to help your target audience behind a paywall will simply hurt. I still occasionally recommend Fiveable for something quick and easy to review but I tell them to not rely on it because it's not sufficient enough to write a good SA or answer most MCQs.

Fiveable has been a lifesaver for my effieceny in preparing my lessons and students for AP Government. I have worked with Amanda and she is very interested in feedback and and really made things happen. VERY VALUABLE TOOL !!!!!

Fiveable is amazing! All the resources helped me get a 5 on my exam and made so many memories from the cram sessions.

The most helpful thing for me is the practice questions! They helped me prepare for mcq tests! I also love the study guides! They help me understand the lessons that I am learning.

Fiveable keeps things very easy to understand and straightforward, which is great when trying to teach students content that can otherwise be very overwhelming

Fiveable is great. The amount of review that is available is some of the best I've seen. Its so hard to find trusted websites, but this is it, to the point I got 5s on all my exams.

I am an AP history teacher and the resources available to me thru fiveable are amazing. My students find great success in better understanding their text book reading by going over the section outlines and the resources for writing DBQs and LEQs are phenomenal. So glad I found fiveable and can bring these amazing resources to my students

As an AP teacher, I find fiveable resources to be both high quality and aligned with the AP exam. They've improved so much in the past five years.

fireable is the best resource for APs! All of the explanations are clear, concise, and helpful! I love the general unit and lesson reviews, but also the definitions of vocab words are absolutely perfect.

Information is accurate but very limited, even with the paid version. There are way better resources out there.

cost money for everything and the actual review and practice questions aren't helpful

Some useful material, but the website organization is awful, especially for the price. The website crashes constantly to the point it is unusable. It's slow, difficult to stay logged in, and hard to navigate where you want. I do not have these issues on any other site--I paid for 2 years, only used it about a dozen times, and these problems only got worse as time progressed. Most useful things are the practice questions and the review guides, but you can often find those elsewhere for free. I paid $40 and canceled, and now they're charging $18 a month??!!? Don't waste your money on this. YouTube, Quizlet, and tutoring are much better than Fiveable for AP resources.

this website actually is terrible i just want to study for apes and it KEEPS locking everything behind a paywall i don’t want to pay $18 for something ill use once

At first it was good, then it locked me out and wouldn’t let me finish my notes because apparently it costs $40 💀
Good info tho, so you don’t get a 1

Somewhat helpful at certain situations, but majority of the time it's not the best place to learn something. The practice question sets are very confusing, so is their study guide. First, the study guide will introduce you so many random vocabularies without a concise and clear explanation or example. Second, the practice question sets. The questions give are completely irrelevant to the corresponding unit. Perhaps the questions weren't made by Fiveable itself, but at least explain more precise about the answers. Their explanations are like telling you to left but also right at the same time, which many of the time is very discouraging. The only solution to this problem is to learn and reinforce from other sources such as Khan Academy. And if that's the only solution, why bother using Fiveable in the first place?

I've used this for all my AP's and it's worked out great! They have so many resources and it's helped me get good grades and scores in my classes. Also, I was having an issue with their website, so I sent them an email and they responded back within 15 minutes. I was very impressed and the issue was quickly resolved. 10/10

Certain subjects are sparse, but I'm mainly using Fiveable for APMacro, which has been amazing. As long as you've read the material in class/outside of class, Fiveable summarizes the ideas in simple ways if you're having trouble grasping them. Probably shouldn't use it on its own for studying, but using Fiveable and the sourcebook has really helped me.

The information presented at fiveable is ok, but very limited and brief, so this is not a great help for studying
