Really happy with the service received from this repair garage. The customer service was excellent, and all the staff were friendly, helpful and approachable. Communication throughout was great, keeping me informed along the way. When I pointed out an issue, they were more than happy to put it right, which I really appreciated. Terrible customer service / responsivenes
One of the worst experiences with a Garage you could imagine.
Company had our car via Admiral insurance and took over a month to do some pretty simple work. We needed the car back by a particular date due to lease ending - this was all communicated to Admiral and Fix Auto.
A estimated date for delivery was given but was not met / nothing communicated to us - we had to ring email and chase nearly every day. This meant the car was out of insurance and we had to extend the lease because of this delay.
Fix Auto didn't reply to emails at all - in fact didn't email us for weeks!
Ringing was painful as often waiting on hold for a long time and then hung up on. When you did get through you were often dismissed or promised a call or email which never happened. We were given snippets or information about the work and the various delays ( they damaged the wingnuts etc ) but nothing we could work with in solid terms.
The worst thing is when you did get through to someone you were just left to feel they simply didn't care at all and there was nothing you coud do.
The guy who dropped the car off was nice and I spoke to a couple of helpfull ( but useless ) people on the phone.
Avoid this company unless your work is straight forward and you have no deadline for completion.

Having reviewed the repair, we would like to clarify that the vehicle was on site with us for 15 working days. We completely appreciate that this can still feel like a long time, particularly for what was a relatively small repair.
Unfortunately, during the repair we encountered an issue with a faulty locking wheel nut key. A replacement had to be ordered before we could proceed with the relevant work, which caused an unexpected delay. Aside from this issue, the repair itself progressed as expected.
We are particularly disappointed to hear about your experience trying to obtain updates from us. Regardless of the reason for a repair delay, you should not have needed to repeatedly chase us for information or been promised calls or emails that did not materialise. We apologise for this aspect of your experience and will be reviewing this internally with the team.
We are pleased that the repair itself was completed successfully and that you had a positive experience with the member of our team who returned the vehicle. However, we recognise that poor communication can overshadow an otherwise successful repair, and we are sorry that this was your experience with us.
Thank you for raising this with us. Your feedback will be used to help us improve the way we communicate with customers throughout the repair process.

Overall it was a frustrating…
Overall it was a frustrating experience. Total lack of communication. What was supposed to be a 7/10 fix based on your quote, ended up being a whole month, which when you have a toddler, a big dog, bikes etc and you swap a big family car for a tiny polo, a whole month just didn't work.
I was the one constantly chasing you up for updates, not the other way around. The receptionist as nice as they are were, didn't have any real detail to give me as to why the hold up was. It was just things like 'parts', which is incredibly vague. And then when I was told it'll be ready, it was then postponed again because they were going to clean it. And if by clean you mean not leaving the inside the way you found it and dump whatever stuff we had left in the car in the back then that's your version of that. Whereas we left your courtesy car immaculate.
Also we left our car with half a tank of fuel in it, I went and added more the day your colleague turned up to collect, because I wasn't informed it should be a certain amount. And when you brought it back, it had less than a quarter of tank. Whereas we left yours with exactly what it came to us with, half a tank.
These are just basic things any company should get right. Communication as to the hold up, a real reason, a planned delivery date so we could make sure someone was home and that your car was there, and leaving our car the way you found it. That's pretty basic customer service.

While repair times can unfortunately change due to parts availability and other factors that arise during the repair process, we completely accept that we should have communicated these changes and the reasons behind them much more clearly. You should not have been left having to repeatedly contact us for updates, particularly when the extended repair time was having an impact on you and your family.
We also appreciate your comments regarding the condition in which your vehicle was returned. Regardless of the quality of the repair itself, the presentation and handover of the vehicle form an important part of the overall customer experience, and we understand your disappointment.
With regard to the fuel level, we would like to clarify that some fuel consumption is unavoidable during the repair process. Your vehicle was collected from you and subsequently delivered back following completion of the repairs, and road testing is also required where appropriate as part of our repair and quality-control process. This will naturally result in some fuel being used. That said, we appreciate that this was not explained to you and understand why the difference in fuel level was noticeable and raised as a concern.
Your comments regarding the lack of a clear delivery date and communication around the return of the vehicle are also fair. We recognise that better and more detailed updates would have made the situation much easier for you to manage, particularly given your family circumstances.
We apologise that the service surrounding your repair did not meet the standard we aim to provide. We will take your feedback on board and address the communication and vehicle handover points with our team.

My car was in safe hands
The collection drivers (can't remember their names) and delivery drivers (Phil and John) were all very professional. The date for the completion of the repair moved a few times so it was difficult to know when to return hire car. Quite difficult to get calls answered or returned but when i did get to speak to someone they were really professional.

The experience was generally good, the pick up of my car was delayed a week because the courtesy car came back with a cracked windscreen ( no fault of yours) the repair did take 3 weeks & when I telephoned for update on one occasion no one got back to me. Other than that all good
