Paid for a part months ago that never turned up, I've called quite a few times they've told me it's being sent out each time, I'm guessing it's a genuine company going by other reviews but from my experience it seems like a scam at this point? Keep the 16 quid enjoy your 1 star. Tried emailing tried calling, when I'm nearby I'll be coming in to ask what happened but until then you can just have a poor review

I got a puncture right outside this guys place in the pouring rain and in a bit of a problem. Guy completely unwilling to help me. I would never give this guy a penny of my money under any circumstance. I wasnt asking favours. Just a paid service and a bit of humanity

I recently booked my bike in for a service with Fix This Bike. I have had the most disappointing of experiences. The bike was collected on Monday and they messaged me on Tuesday with details of the work they thought needed doing (costing £190 on top of the £20 collection fee). I immediately agreed to the work and paid the fee. I then heard nothing at all for 2 days. I called and was told the mechanic working on my bike was off sick - on one else was able to help. I then rang the next day to find out the status and was told the mechanic was back but the driver was off. No-one was able to give me any idea of when my bike might be returned. I then had to call again the following week to get an update. At no time did Fix This Bike attempt to contact me other than one quick email which didn’t really give a lot of detail. The bike was eventually delivered back some 8 days after it was collected. So it is not a 48 hour (or anywhere close service). In addition the returned bike has a loose front mudguard (which was OK before it was serviced) and the gears now slip continually (they too were OK before the service). I am now going to have to find another repair team to resolve the issues as I cannot risk my bike being done for another 8 days. It has really been very poor customer service and I currently have a bike that is less ridable then when Fix this Bike collected it.

Excellent service, fast and reasonably priced. Changing my pedals was done instantly at the Clerkenwell workshop. Evans cycles would have charged 3 times more!!

Ordered a rear hanger for my bike on line on the 26th of January.
They charged me £39.99 including £20 postage and then didn't deliver the part despite taking the money from my credit card and issuing an order confirmation.
Have so far phoned them 6 times and sent numerous emails including a cancellation of the order.
They have not responded as promised.
This is clearly a dishonest company who do not believe in customer service.

Absolutely rubbish. ordered a bike collection and paid upfront. got a message on the day to say a driver was sick and couldnt pick it up. Clearly they didnt want to spend the money to get another driver, so they postponed the collection to the following week. Then they didnt turn up again. Completely unreliable. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I had my bike serviced at your shop a few months ago, and since then, I’ve experienced ongoing issues with the gears. To resolve this, I recently took my bike to another repair shop, where they identified that a 10-speed chain was installed, despite my bike having an 11-speed drivetrain.

This incorrect installation has caused persistent shifting problems. To add insult to injury that charged me £300!!! On top of that, it took me over 2 weeks to get the bike back. I do not recommend them

I think this is a great idea, being able to cycle to work and have the bike picked up and returned. However, communication is very poor, not real idea of pick up time and took over a week for the return. I was constantly having to email them to get updates. They said I needed some new parts, but never returned the old one for me to verify if this was true. Great idea, poorly executed!

The two guys working there are great! I know that if I have any issue with my bike they are going to be able to help very quickly and efficiently
If you are in the area just go there, you won't regret it!
I am a busy mum, always rushing home after work to pick up my kids - you saved my day! :)

My chain broke on my bike on the way to work, within 10 minutes it had been fixed by the team at Fix This Bike. Amazing service and a great price too!

Best service I've had on my bike yet, and I've been to lots of places. They were opening a new workshop and didn't have staff available on the day but still managed to squeeze in my bike and it was ready the following day for collection

Had 2 flat tyres ,one was a slow puncture which had been fixed twice by another company ,however this company found and fixed the underlying problem .
The mechanic was very polite and did the work efficiently and quickly ,very pleased with the service

They couldn't be bothered to pick up my bike within the arranged time period. No communication/messages to say they weren't honouring the booking, despite having my mobile number and email address. When I contacted FIX THIS BIKE the person on the phone was hostile in dealing the situation, unable to process a refund, failed to provide an apology, no reasonable reason as to why the pickup hadn't occurred within the booked time period or why there was no communication to explain why the pick wasn't happening. At this point I would only like to have my money returned and have no further contact with this company.

Update
In response to FIX THIS BIKE's reply below, I had booked a pickup for between 2pm and 6pm, your calls occurred between 11:34am and 12:21pm. This is well before the time I booked. And yes I was asleep as I work night shifts, hence my choice of an afternoon pickup.
I returned the missed calls when I awoke at 12:34pm, I was put through to the workshop and was simply told it was the driver. I called back at 5:48pm to if the driver was coming, quite apparently that wasn't happened.

This whole issue could have been avoided if you left a message on voicemail, email or by text message and informed me of the cancellation and offered an apology. Instead you have been quite childish in your correspondence.

Please be careful when using this company they can't take responsibility for their errors.

the team at FixThisBike were great to work with. They communicated clearly and accurately when they would arrive and return and throughout the repair process about any changes. The service was very reasonably priced. The driver was also excellent and clearly passionate about cycling with some great recommendations.

Agree with the other comments, this service is great (I've used it twice now). David who picked up my bike, really polite and friendly, Andrew (engineer I think) is super knowledgeable around the bike, and is helpful, price ok - it feels like a personalised service - comms is really good too, I would 100% recommend these guys
