Dear Reader, this is Massimo Marini, Flatinrome's founder and manager. My website was built originally in 2002 with only one flat. After a few months of activities I understood that doing my job with passion, the direct management of the apartments (all the properties are either belonging to me, rented for a long term or I have an exclusive management agreement) and a good service for a moderate price are the best way to make the difference in the wide range of holiday rental websites in Rome. I provide a full property management, and my cleaning and maintenance staff ensure that each property is well taken care of. So Flatinrome is not an agency (= no commissions !). My goal is my guest's satisfaction, and I do believe that this is possible only with direct contact guest-owner. I've also the firm belief that your referrals are the most powerful marketing tool and for the success of Flatinrome nothing is more precious than a satisfied guest. The results told me that I was right: I achived my target in terms of guest satisfaction (please check my apartments on Tripadvisor for further details). Lovely cozy flat. Within walking distance of all the main attractions of Rome. Clean and cute it was ideal for families. Staff was very helpful and professional for all our needs. Would highly recommend.

Family of 2 adults and 4 teenagers stayed in via della Luce, Trastevere B, with flatinrome.it this May half term. The location is superb. 7-8 mins from the river 10 mins from the restaurant and bar quarter of Trastevere. Very easy booking just 24hrs before with booking.com. Staff were friendly, helpful and very flexible, important given the short notice booking and delayed flight. We arrived gone midnight and Leonardo was on hand with no complaints and friendly guidance. The accommodation was ideal for a family our size and could easily accommodate 10 people with room to spare. This is largely due to the dorm style bedrooms for kids/teens. Ours didn't care about this at all. Some might not like this.
Price was very reasonable. So why not 5 stars? The only comment is that the accommodation is a bit basic in terms of style.
Peaceful, felt safe, perfect central location for eating out, spacious, clean, mod cons, easy to use, friendly, transparent costs, nothing too much trouble. Do note though it is basic.

1) the apartment is in the quiest part of the typical district of Trastevere, just across the street from the noisest part. On this side, are actually several restaurants (see "Osteria Luce", nice organic restaurant less than 50 metres away), bars and my favourite home made biscuit maker :-)
2) In this building are different options of accommodations: FLATINROME PENTHOUSE JACUZZI TRASTEVERE A (third floor) FLATINROME LUXURY APARTMENT WITH PRIVATE TERRACE TRASTEVERE C (first floor), APARTMENT WITH BALCONY TRASTEVERE G (across the street). Finally, I just started the activity for the LUXURY ROOMS FLATINROME TRASTEVERE at gound floor. You booked the apartment on the second floor named "FAMILY AND GROUP APARTMENT TRASTEVERE B ". In this complex my guest can easily find what they are looking for and of course rates are different. The reason why the price, as you said, is "very reasonable" is due to the fact that this apartment (as suggested by the name) is especially suitable for families and group, with low price and bunk beds. If you are coming again and you are looking for something different, just try the other apartments or rooms!

I had a very pleasant stay in Flatinrome Trastevere 9. The apartment is perfectly located in the centre of Rome, everything is within walking distance and the staff is very polite and welcolming.
