Flatio is the best in the world
I am very satisfied with the cooperation with Flatio, renting out my properties is simple, clear, customer support is fast and high-quality. I also cooperate with other online rental platforms, but Flatio is the best in the world.
Professional and excellent services
The staff is very professional, and the platform is easy to navigate. The terms and conditions are transparent and understandable, and the service is excellent.
The only recommendation I have is regarding payment services. Recently, Flatio changed its payment platform and bank, and not all payment cards are accepted i.e. credit cards issued in certain regions are not accepted. This means that neither Apple Pay nor online payments can be made if your banking card is issued in a non-supported region. In such cases, the only available payment option is bank transfer. Therefore, my recommendation is to provide a complete list of supported regions for online payments (via credit card, Apple Pay, etc.). Alternatively, they could try removing this limitation by making available that payment option for currently non-supported regions.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the provided services.

Flatio looks like a great alternative…
Flatio looks like a great alternative to Airbnb with some great properties but the owners on there all seem to be scammers. I contacted 3 properties for a potential summer stay.
While all showed available for the duration of our stay, once I started messaging the owners it was a different story.
The first owner after sending the dates that were available and different to the flatio website then rejected my requests stating they were only taking bookings through a different site.
The second owner also sent different data availability and the told me they could not book via flatio if only 5 nights which is what they told me was available. They said to contact them to make a booking on their other side. I put a booking request through as wanted to stay in the app as advised. The house was listed for €40 a night, my booking was rejected stating the price was wrong and was actually €220 a night.
The owners seem to be taking people for a ride and trying to get them off the site and then charge different prices to what is advertised.

Flatio has been a breeze
Flatio has been a breeze to deal with. Booking an apartment is straightforward and simple. There are a few things to sign which is new for me when booking apartments but besides this, it's been good.
we did have a unfortunate experience with one of the apartments I booked which we had to immediately leave but Flatio did everything they could to ensure that we were safe and taken care of and was in touch daily to make sure all was ok in our alternative accommodation. I have no issues using their service again regardless of 1 bad experience.

Nice selection of options, reasonable prices. The contract signature flow is very good, and legally wise, it can be presented to the government bodies, thus making it a perfect choice for a long stay with some flexibility of moving around.

„The condition of the property was bad. The condo is outdated, and it needed urgent repairs. It was very cold some days inside, and two electrical portable oil heaters were not enough to have normal temperature inside. It was a very bad smell from the kitchen sink. The managing company HostWise and owners of the property ignored most of our requests. For example, they didn't want to give us a key from a mailbox for a very long time. They gave it to us only after our threat to cancel our rental. They sent us monthly invoices for 2024 only after many of our requests for invoices, but ignored our multiple requests for getting invoices for January and February 2025 completely!“

You booked me into two places that did not genuinely have heat, when I purposely selected them because they said that they had heat. Plug both heaters in because they are too small and the power goes out - there goes the groceries!.
Someone from Flatio needs to physically go and actually verify the units for genuine content offered and workability of features advertised. Next unit I rent from you doesn't have a microwave that works: and the owner has been made aware of it, and isn't replacing it. And I 'm here for another 3 weeks. In the end, you're lying to people, whether you know about it or not.
And I'm still waiting almost a week since I moved out for my refund from the owner, because Flatio doesn't do that like other rental agencies, of which I will be using because Flatio is over priced, and incompetent when refunding guests who have been bamboozled deliberately by them.
Bait and switch. Get them on the hook, and slowly, slowly give them Some of their money back you fraudently stole from us

First time booking
Month long booking,mid February to mid March. Things worked out well, Flatio sent us a number of tip newsletters on Spain and Portugal and were very helpful keeping us informed on what our duties were as tenants and the responsibilites of both us to the landlord and vice versa. We had no reason to file a claim but knowing the what ifs was helpful. We are on to another month long stay and are hopeful it will go as well as this one.
