Jamie Warner my travel agent was super helpful at assisting me with flights to London. He was friendly, thorough in researching the best airline for my needs and corresponded to enquiries quickly. I would definitely use him again. Thanks Jamie

Booked hotel in Bali - got the wrong room and missed one airport transfer.

I booked flights & accom to Bali for my wife's 60th. We rarely travel overseas so I went to our local office and told the consultant same expecting high-touch. Nothing was explained to us re. visas and other entry requirements - it was all self serve on the web. Also didn't explain airport transfers. So we missed our transfer and had to find a driver and pay out of our own pocket. When we get to the hotel we get told my reception that when are in a street view room (which happened to be facing a construction site at the time) instead of the pool access room which we booked and paid for. Digging deeper we were told that our room was booked via booking.com. Apparently this is a common thing in the travel industry called "skimming". FC sold our booking to Booking.com who then booked the cheapest room. We were horrified. My wife was in tears. Kudos to the hotel who managed to find a slightly better room but not the one we booked. We did get a refund (for the difference between the price of the rooms as you would rightfully expect) . They also gave us a $340 voucher, but at the end of the day we didn't get the holiday we paid for . I would never use Flight Centre again.
