Follow-up on Compensation Claim – Flight Delay of 4 December (Malta)

I am writing to follow up on the compensation claim I previously submitted regarding the delay of my flight from Malta to Tirana on 4 December, scheduled to depart at 12:55.

Several days have passed since I submitted my claim, and I have not yet received any information or response regarding its status. The delay is clearly documented and amounts to 3 hours and 6 minutes, as shown in the notifications from the Wizz Air mobile application.

I have also spoken with other passengers who were on the same flight, and they informed me that they have already received compensation, even if only a partial amount. For this reason, I do not understand why my claim has not yet been acknowledged or processed, and why there has been no confirmation that my complaint has been accepted.

I kindly request a clear update on the status of my claim and confirmation that it is being reviewed. Given the length of the delay, I believe my case is fully eligible under EU Regulation 261/2004.

Thank you for your attention. I look forward to your prompt response.

They sent probably about 6

They sent probably about 6, 7 member staff to send the message out to all passengers for that particular flight
All the passengers will definitely get a confirmation, definitely the airline company will pay for the cancellation flight on the 6 of December at 01:25 departure from Suceava to Luton
Today I receive another email from the poorest company to inform me nothing will happen 🤮
Shameful 👎👎👎
Huooooooo🤮🤮🤮

resolution delay

Nearly one month has now passed with no resolution, despite the fact that other passengers from the same flight have already received their compensation. This inconsistency is unacceptable and raises concerns regarding the handling of my case.

I regret using FlightHelp

I regret using FlightHelp. Their system could not upload my boarding passes, and even though I contacted them by email, they did not reply for weeks. Because of this, my case never moved forward.

When I later asked to cancel the claim, they refused and tried to charge cancellation fees, even though the delay was caused by their own system and lack of response. This is unprofessional and feels like they are blaming the customer for their own mistakes.

I do not recommend FlightHelp based on my experience.

Waiting for my compensation process to be completed

I used FlightHelp to submit a compensation claim for a 7-hour flight delay with Wizz Air. The process was easy to start and their platform is simple to use. I appreciate that they handled the paperwork for me, as it would have been difficult to manage on my own.

I am currently waiting for the final response regarding my compensation, and I hope everything will be resolved smoothly. Overall, the experience has been good so far, and I’m looking forward to the outcome.

Posible SCAM!!

I did a claime 10 months ago my flight ha's been delayd for 10 hours. When I landed people with fliers/leaflets approched me and told me about the claim. I did all necessary steps to get my claim, They told me that "Your claim has been approved" And apparently they still waiting for the airline to send the funds. I don't really know what to think about this company. Is or a big scam or the airline company are not professional at all.

Is this a mistake?

I signed a contract with FlightHelp (WYNN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT SRL) to recover compensation for a delayed WizzAir flight in May 2024 (claim AA5087, reservation NW5EMH).

In November 2025 I was informed that the compensation had been received from the airline. In January 2026 I was told my payment would be processed in the next batch.
As of today, I have not received the money.
Communication has been inconsistent over time, and the process has taken far longer than expected.
For comparison, in a separate denied boarding case with WizzAir, when I submitted the claim directly myself, compensation (€400) was paid within approximately 30 days.
I am currently waiting for the transfer of the amount that is contractually due to me.
I will update this review once the payment is completed.

Update: the sum of €228.60 have been received on the 12th March 2026 from them after 22 months and countless emails and phone calls, even warning them that I will take legal action against them.

Based on my experience I will never ever make the mistake of using their services again!
