This my second buy from flightpoint and it is very good. No problems.

Prompt and helpful communication. Gene provided a very reliable service and seems happy to share his experience. Quality of packing is excellent and everything delivered as expected.

Have not received my Joy2.5 meter glider as of today. The response from Gene in keeping me updated is very good. Looking forward to getting my glider when Gene gets it from the factory.

The build is top quality and the plane is very light. The packing is very well thought out with a wooden crate that is very strong and protective of the content yet not very big or heavy. The team was very communicative and helpful before ordering and during the wait for the fabrication to be complete.

The product itself is amazing.
Delivery is pretty fast - 2½ weeks to Georgia (EU).
The production was far too long. With the promised "usually ships within 6 weeks", it went from August 23 to December 4 - more than 14 weeks.

They produced a beautiful glider and where very helpful with other items I wanted as in ballast

I've only been gluing balsa sets for 45 years, so it's rookie opinion.
So far the best engineered and cut. It can fly in any conditions. Just add half a brick of ballast.
Idiot-proof.

The order and delivery of the glider kit went smoothly, as scheduled, and arrived at my door without issues, despite the challenges of the product originating from a conflict zone. The Maverick kit that arrived was complete with no missing parts or items ordered. Looking forward to the build this winter.

Very high quality product. Shipping was faster than I expected given the events in that part of the world.
I would suggest that every Joy sailplane would come with a spare wing joiner; they can be fragile.

Great model, came quickly, was well packaged, was easy to assemble with online instructions and had many thoughtful design features that i was impressed with.

As my first full house model i crashed it almost immediately but thankfully it proved quite survivable. It wasn't 100% clear which circles indicated the CG but my major crash happened after i had resolved the CG.

the main issue i had after the crash was that i had broken the plywood motor mount. i have replaced it with a 3d printed nose which allows the motor to move a little backwards so that the force is transferred through spinner to fuselage. i am sure this wouldnt be an issue for someone with some more plane flying experience than me!

i also put ardupilot on it as i wanted to try the autonomous features. i had a hard time finding a flight controller that would fit in the narrow fuselage below the wing, perhaps this is something to consider if you think more people might want to do this.

Anyway im very happy with it and i am already thinking i need a new building project!

I decided to purchase a Maverick to build this coming winter in Montana. I found it very easy to place my order and felt completely confortable with my payment process. My Maverick kit arrived quickly and in great shape. The USPS did everything they could to smash my kit but Flightpoint did a great job at packaging my kit and it showed. I am very happy with my Flightpoint purchase and will be back soon for another winter project.

All as promised. Great product, great support.

I fly RC sailplane for my living and I love any information I receive from the manufacturer it’s almost unheard of
