App doesn't work

After getting the App working i actually find the unit itself good, bit more development of the App would make it very good.

Basically the APP that is needed to drive this does not load, tried 3 different devices. Suggestion by the maker was buy a different smartphone, followed by restarting existing device. Never once admitted there was an issue and was soooo slooow at responding

Everything was fine. Almost everything.

Everything was fine, and I loved the product which I knew from before.

The application is also much better than some years ago.

But still to be improved: lacking some simple, straightforward, & specially easy to find upfront “ quick set up instructions”. I had to check verify and follow some links to understand what to do with the two little bottles, whether to use this trip or not, in order to avoid any mistakes.

My emails were quickly answered and when it couldn’t be troubleshooted a replacement was sent out.

Basic instructions are missing

Basic instructions are missing, firstly how to assemble the unit and secondly possible calibration of the unit. Is it ready to put in pool or......?
Update: According to Flipr all instructions are available on their website, I certainly can't find it.....

Online order delivered with in 1 week to PaysBas

Ordered a Flipr sensor and control unit. I missed easy access to English documentation for installation and calibration. Product is working fine and detected a fault in automatic chloor dispensor. Only 1 teststrip is a bit limited (teststrips - plural - is mentioned!)

Low quality product and lousy support

If only I could give 0 stars I would. Over the past 4 years, I’ve been through 2 Flipr devices and 1 refurbishment. During that period I have had a working device for a combined period of less than a year.

Their support is arrogant, non-responsive, sometimes for months and you have to constantly be on top of them if you want any chance of response.

They make promises of replacements, but then ghost you. This has happened twice now, both from their French support team and their local representative.

Their communication is all in French, so you have to use google translate to have a chance of knowing what’s going on with your support case, and the same goes for the app. It will switch randomly between French and English.

Find another product to monitor your pool and save yourself a world of frustrations.

Insufficient support help

Our first flipper was great for a couple of years but then failed, even though we installed a new battery.
Second flipper has a multitude of problems. We can’t calibrate it, and can’t contact flipper bacause our password isn’t recognised and we can’t create a new one. Very unhelpful website with no help for us as we are locked out.

Impossible to speak to someone at FLIPR

When you look for a phone number to reach them you get one specific number. Once you call that number you get told that this number is no longer valid and give you another number. When you try that last number, a telco operator message says that that number is not available. So I tried a couple of emails and after a fex days still no reply. I really wonder how they can claim that they are #1 with their product when it is impossible to reach someone.

Exceptional monitoring system

Exceptional monitoring system. I have this and one rival system, and this is far superior. Once you get your head around the lower redox reading due to the way it calculates, using other parameters, then it is the best system that I've seen.
