Ash was very helpful in the showroom. We had been to other retailers to compare prices but went back to Floor Giants as we were confident in the advice and help Ash gave us.

Well done Ash and Lisa (Derby)on really helping us to decide on flooring for our newbuild orangery. We had been going round in circles with our choices but sensible advice, taking note of our requirements meant we found our dream flooring.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

Jordan worked out the amount of boxes we needed and gave me confidence so placed the order on Monday and it was delivered Wednesday. Fantastic service delivered by a professional company. Definitely recommend.

My experience was appalling.
They had plenty of sales patter and promises to get an order but that soon morphed into blatant incompetence on every level once they had secured the order.
4 times fitters were booked, 4 times I was let down because incompetents employed in the Hedge End branch couldn't get the very basics right.
One pair of fitters they sent bore all the behavioural traits of rogue traders with their surly attitudes, misogyny, excuse making and a completely absence of any digital footprint for checking credentials and reviews.
Hardly 'giants' when it came to customer service and delivery !
Customers should also be aware that being honourable is not a strong trait of this company as there is no process for escalating complaints - basically any complaint is handled by whichever wide boy chatter mouth is employed that day.

I took a refund, and have since dealt with a rival company who have provided a far superior service and product.

Ordered and fitted flooring then had an issue with boards separating. Asked to send in photos etc but then could not ascertain issue from photos and wanted to send someone out ( No issue so far) Person visited and agreed there was an issue and flooring was fitted correctly.
Floor giants then decided to send claim to their supplier ( supplier, not fitters) who from photos claimed flooring was not fitted correctly. Then passed round business. Eventually paid for an independent flooring specialist who said there was an issue and flooring fitted correctly. He, on our behalf, went to the manufacturer who resolved the issue. Flooring Giants were absolutely useless and tried everything not to resole the issue

Very helpful and friendly service. Very nice people. Would recommend to anyone. Helped us pick our flooring and packed it in the car.

Terrible customer service!

Ordered flooring 27th Dec, 7 to 10 days delivery into store.

Waited till 9th Jan given that we had New year, phoned the store, gentleman said leave it with me ill chase it up and phone you back. No return call.

Monday 12th phoned store, leave it with me ill phone you back. No call back all day, phoned again end of day they were blaming head office for the issue. We will phone you back either way tomorrow morning at latest.

Tuesday afternoon still no phone call. Phoned head office to be told i will chase up purchasing and phone you back, i said that seems to be a common theme. Was told id get a call back by end of day. No call.

Thursday phoned head office again. Was told oh yes i remember speaking to you. Was told that my items had been discontinued they cannot supply but i can choose something else, i was told that "Kevin" from the Swansea store was supposed to phone me to explain?

I can choose something else - no thanks ill get my money back, oh i cant do that over the phone i'll ask the Swansea branch to contact you.........

Yes no issue with product being discontinued as title stated customer service was poor with 5 commitments to calling me back but nobody ever did even the guy from head office.

Went to store and the guys were very helpful in processing my refund. So thanks. Wouldn't put me off going to your store again but was honest feed back on how my service turn out.

The service I have received from Gaz and his team in Hedge End, Southampton, has been first class! Went into store and was greeted warmly by the manager Gaz. He was very patient with me and helped guide me to good quality flooring option, with in my budget. Before we proceeded he arranged for Harry to visit my home to do a free home measure. He was again very patient and very knowledgeable. After receiving the quote the same day, I decided to go ahead and also opted in for their fitting service. On the day of my fitting, my fitter turned up just after 9 and cracked on. After a few short hours he was done and the floor looked amazing. He tidied up after himself and made sure I was 100% happy with the end result, which I was!

I highly recommend floor giants, and will be definitely returning there when I decide to do the next room in my house!

Ash was brilliant in store helping with what we required getting spc because of an active dog. Marius and his team were quick, efficient and professional carrying out the installation. Would highly recommend

The Hedge End branch were happy to take my money in full and book in a fitting date some weeks ago.
2 days prior to the fitting date I phoned them and was given confirmation that the fitting would go ahead as booked. I then emptied rooms in preparation.
Fitting day came - no show and no contact or call to inform me - I had to call the company to ask why there was a no show!
On phoning the company I was told they had messed up on the order and they were waiting for the flooring to be delivered today !
After an insincere apology and a bunch of worthless platitudes they have rebooked fitting for 2 days time - will it happen? Let's see !

EDIT: The arranged fitting again failed to take place 2 days later, so it was agreed that fitting would take place 3 days after the original fail to appear.
Fitters turned up - only to find that the staff at Hedge End Floor Giants had not given them the complete schedule of works and they would not be able to complete fitting in the time given - for the THIRD TIME I have been let down for the fitting.
What also became apparent was that information I had been told at the time of sale concerning, among other matters, disposal of original flooring, removal and replacement of skirting, was simply not true.

From the point of taking my money for goods and services this company have been atrocious.

This company promise a gold standard of service and deliver lower than a murky brown standard !!!

AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!

2ND EDIT:
FOR THE FOURTH TIME I have been let down by the Hedge End branch of this company.
Having paid in full for a product and service the first fitter appointment failed because of the incompetence in placing the order meaning the product was not delivered on time. The second appointment failed for the same reason.
Fitters arrived for the 3rd appointment and stated that they had not been told the scope of works by the company and left without doing the work.
A fourth timed appointment was made for today. One hour after the time the appointed time I had to ring the store to ask why the fitter had not shown up. I was informed that the flooring was still with the fitter who had turned up for the 3rd appointment and the fitter had cancelled the job on these grounds. This company have had FIVE DAYS to collect the flooring from the original fitters !!!

Not only have the been negligent in supplying the goods ordered and PAID FOR, I'm the one who has kept having to phone the store following no shows from the fitters.
The store manager just mutters insincere apologies for their incompetence.

"Albert" from Floor Giants responded to this review below and asked me to write to the company on a given e mail address. So I did write to them and guess what?
............... Not even an acknowledgement, let alone a proper response to their dismal conduct !!!This company hand the evidence of my review on a plate!

Wow !! Just visited the Cardiff store and was helped by Jamie. I wish I’d gone straight there instead of other stores in Cardiff. Excellent service , choice of flooring was exceptional and amazing value. Will be back and would recommend anytime

Lack of customer service, when ever ive phoned or emailed, no reply or follow up! Always chasing them. Dont leave a voice message (apparently they dont have access to it!). Wrong colour put down. Looks like its been cut with paper scissors ✂️ and a health and safety risk as some1 could trip over, where not fitted correctly! Just takes your money and feel like there's no follow up on your complaint.

Excellent service so far very professional, just need to pick a colour now.

I ordered 3 samples and none of them have arrived.

We ordered samples and they never arrived so unfortunately I wasn’t going to order carpets with the worry they also wouldn’t arrive.
I did get a phone call from a different named company asking if I had received them and when I stated I hadn’t they were going to speak to head office and wanted to know how fast I’d be looking to order carpets. I’ve still not had a call back or still no samples.

Floor giants Doncaster - friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff, fantastic engineered wood flooring at a great price. Went back to buy the same flooring for a second room. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Floor giants at Swansea Enterprise park were very helpful. They allowed us to store our order there until we were ready for it and refunded us after installation with our spare pack. There was a slight problem with one pack, but this was dealt with swiftly and the manager even drove to our house to deliver the new pack.
