I was let down badly by one store near me so cancelled. I went to floorstore in wakefield, explained what I wanted and Paul advised me what was needed and I was given a 2 day slot for the work. They came to see what was to be done and advised me what I needed to do. They came on the days specified and did an excellent job and I am thrilled with the new floor. I found the 2 workmen very pleasant and polite and can't praise them enough

They bent over backwards to accommodate my needs. Got me fitted quickly at very competitive prices. Love my LVP flooring and carpet. Highly recommend the company and Rob who will sort out your needs.

Excellent service highly recommended
We have dealt with the floor store over many years having bought flooring for the whole of the house from laminate to carpet and more recently LVT. We have dealt with a number of different staff at the Wakefield store but Rob was extremely helpful in helping us choose our LVT for our new bathroom even recommending a completely different colour to what we first thought! Would highly recommend all of the team. The fitters Martin who did our carpets and Wayne and Mark who fitted the LVT were excellent.

After already receiving a few quotes from other company's a family member advised me to have a look at Floorstore, I had a look on the website and requested a quote which I received via email quite quickly. I then received a call from Scott at the Wakefield store asking me a few more questions to make sure the quote was correct, I called Scott a couple of times over the next few days to ask questions etc and he was so helpful. We called into store to finalise everything and book the installation of the flooring and was surprised to find out we could have it done the following week. Everything was so easy to arrange and the floor fitter has done a fantastic job! He really took his time and you could tell he cared about making sure it was perfect. Will definitely be using Floorstore in the future.

We had great service from Paul in store from start to finish. He was really helpful selecting the best flooring to suit our needs with two small dogs at home. He was patient and attentive and we’re really happy with the choices he assisted us to make. All promised schedules were met and communications were excellent. This was the second time we had used The Floorstore for LVT and carpets and we were not disappointed. The quality of the products and expert fitting is of the highest standards. Will be coming back soon for bedroom carpets in the New Year.

Would just like to say a big thank you to Rob for helping us choose our new bedroom carpet. This is the third or 4th time we have had flooring from the Floor Store Wakefield, having had both carpets and laminate flooring in the past. We’ve even bought a bed from here which is so comfortable. Can’t fault the customer service which has been consistently good every time. And a really big thank you to Steve who has fitted all of the carpets we have had, he is always so efficient and clears up after he has finished. I would highly recommend this business.

I recently had an excellent experience with the Floorstore, thanks to the amazing team led by Rob and Colin. They helped me refloor my entire house, installing over 150sqm of stunning Invictus herringbone flooring, and over 100sqm of carpet. Both products look amazing and are of top-notch quality.

We were struggling to get the flooring we wanted for our new extention as what we had chosen required a flat even floor and ours was uneven. After nearly giving up we called at Floorstore Wakefield. Colin was super helpful. Giving us good advise about our choice of floor, finance options and when to get it booked in to work around our renovations and new kitchen arriving. Wayne and Nigel the fitters worked 2 long days. They were extremely professional. We are absolutely over the moon with how it looks, better than we imagined and would recommend anyone to give Floorstore Wakefield a visit. Ask for Colin :)

Day 1 Laminate fitter.
The fitter contacted me on the morning to confirm the time he would attend.
On arrival and throughout the day he was very professional and curteous.
His work was very good and he was very tidy ensurng minimum dust. Overall a great experience.

The 2 fitters contacted me on the morning to tell me what time they would arrive.
On arrival they introduced themselves and were very easy to get on with.
They worked hard throughout the day and were very professional and tidy.

I recently had carpets fitted by Floor Store Wakefield, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The quality of the work was outstanding, and the carpets were fitted to a very high standard. The room looks fantastic, and the attention to detail is evident.

Both the carpet fitters and the staff at the store were incredibly warm and welcoming. They made the entire process smooth and put me at ease with their professionalism and friendly demeanor.

The follow-up call was particularly lovely. Even if I did miss their call, they left a lovely voicemail this really showed that they care about their customers' satisfaction. It's clear that they go above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect.

Additionally, their prices are very competitive without any loss of quality, which is much better than what you get from the big corporate chain stores.

I highly recommend Floor Store Wakefield for anyone in need of new carpets. Their service is top-notch, and I will definitely be returning for any future carpet needs.
